The Sage is in Naruto and Sasuke

Just a thought that came up this morning:

When Nagato (from the Senju lineage)handed over to Naruto his desire for peace, it seems that he is handing to Naruto the legacy of the Sage's younger son, who believe that the world can be ruled through love/peace...

When Madara (from Uchiha lineage) tried to teach Sasuke, it looks like he's handing over to Sasuke, the legacy of the Sage's elder son, who believe that the world can be ruled through power...

It looks like everything will converge with Naruto and Sasuke...

There might(?) be a time in the story plot that they will fight each other, but at that fight, they will encounter the spirit of the Sage, and will realize why he had two sons, and that true peace in the world can be attained by power tempered with love... here they will realize that both will die if they continue fighting each other because they will both have to complement the other (kinda like Yin Yang) in order to finally have peace in the shinobi world...

i dont think so , because sasuke might do what madara did and try and fight again , + sasuke is stubborn and probally wont agree to that,he told naruto he would have to kill him in order for him to stop him from destroying the leaf

Nice + rep, even thought i believe why'll Naruto in sasuke are fighting we will see the spirits of Hashirama and Madara, along with the Older and younger son; just to show fate, but i believe sasuke will also end the curse of hatred.

I totally agree with you... and Sasuke will redeem the Uchiha side of the Sage line with this possibility...

Madara will drop Obito like a ton of bricks when he sees sasuke has more potential. If Madara knew Itachi was born and showed sign of being a genius Obito would still be on side of that rock.

I know Kishimoto will come up with something and that will be the case, but seriously, Sasuke is an S class criminal that attacked the leader of every major village. If it wasn't for the war, he'd be hunted and killed...

True.. but if Tsunade steps down as Hokage after the war and Naruto becomes the Hokage, he can use his leadership to show pardon, part of the "love to rule the world" legacy of the Senju lineage... OR because of his personality, he can influence people to change hearts, just like Shikamaru when he said, "With Naruto, I feel like I want to follow him"... that gift can influence people...

It definitely can influence people. Naruto went from a stupid, obnoxious kid to a stupid obnoxious somebody that is going to change the fate of the world. But, even with Naruto as Hokage, do you think anyone besides MAYBE some of the Konoha 11 will want him back in this village? Even as Kage, Naruto isn't the only person in the village. So many people are disgusted at the sound of his name and want his head.

Even then, even if they saw everything Sasuke did, and tried to put theirselves in his ninja sandals, would even that be enough to justify the things he has done?
