After being defeated by the First he implants Hashirama's dna into himself and stores some for the creation of Zetsu clones. He implanted his eyes into a baby Uzumaki so that Nagato could use the gedo Mazou when he was older. He then leaves Baby Nagato alone hoping that he would become evil. He goes to his underground passage and grows Zetsu clones while fapping over Hashirama for a few years. Obito coincidentally slips past the boulder and falls into the underground passage. Madara sees he is an Uchiha and heals him, hoping that he will aid Nagato and Zetsu in collecting the tailed beasts. He lets his successor leave to see Rins death, hoping he will come back.
The plan seems pretty shitty to me. Firstly, he entrusted his rinnegan to baby Nagato not knowing what would become of him. Fortunately for Madara, Nagato had a painful life and was willing to work with Obito. Secondly, despite Zetsu saying Madara chose Obito, he didn't. Obito was conveniently laid on a platter for Madara who though he might as well save him. Obito wasn't even a part of Madara's original plan. Madara was probably planning on Zetsu and Nagato to revive him, Obito was a bonus.
His plan seems more like taking massive risks, hoping that baby Nagato would become evil and hoping that an Uchiha landed in his underground passage. The Zetsus were the only thing that Madara properly planned. Dont know about you but his master 'plan' seemed more like a bunch of coincidences then anything else. Im very disappointed Kishi.
