Obito's story just became lame.

Kishi just had to do it didn't he; instead of making this moons eye plan about peace and escaping hell, he had to make obito say I will create a world where your (rin) alive.

So that means he joined madara, attacked the leaf, gathered bijuu's, started a war to get the last bijuu's... just because rin, one girl died. And for him to get her back.

I can't wait till this shit is over, Madara is badass can't wait to see him fight but I have lost faith in obito's character he is not badass to me any more he's just a crybaby who wants his way.

Once again if it was this "making this moons eye plan about peace and escaping hell" it would be fine but doing all this not because rin died but to revive rin that's the lamest shit I've ever read.

I think obito has the lamest reason of becoming a villain sasuke has the best. Can't wait for his story

It better be, I think overtime he was focused more on stopping war because of all the pain. Rin's death just made him realize that.

Madara had many reasons to do this world domination crap..Obito didnt

Madara turned down by the Uchiha he had sworn to protect
Madara took his brothers eyes..yet the war had ended and his brother had died in vain
Madara became jealous of Hashirama and sought revenge
Madara missed out on the first hokage spot due to his hatred
Madara was sick of the world he lived in

Heaps of reasons why

Obito sees his team mate Rin die (she didnt love him the way she did love Kakashi)
Obito does Madara's plan to bring back Rin

If anything Obito made stuff worse..he could of returned to Konoha even after Rins death but no chose to take a different path and murder his family with Itachi even tho Itachi did that for other reasons

Sasuke had his entire family butchered by his brother
Sasuke finds out his brother did it because it was a order and Itachi loved him deeply
Sasuke feels as if the leaf village betrayed him
Sasuke had to kill his brother without knowing what he stood for
Sasuke felt as if he lived for nothing and became an avenger

Naruto has heaps of reasons..to turn bad but he didnt thats why he will succeed where the SO6P has failed

No everything you are saying is what I thought and was hoping for but in today's chapter he said I will create a world where you alive, which means he is doing this for rin and she does matter.

I thought rin was a stepping stone for obito to realize this reality is hell but now it seems he is doing this to make a world where she can be alive again. Which I find lame when you look at all the things he has done to accomplish this

To bring rin back I am fine by that but to destroy konoha, kill many people, start a war for a chick... come on man that's a bit much.

I'm actually surprised to hear you say this. You're somewhat the spearhead of "The Obito Project". You put so much effort into making so many theories about threads for the Tobi/Obito cause, I assumed you'd be okay with everything about his story no matter how inconsistent or convoluted they were. You can't give up now.

That being said, I never explicitly hated the idea of Tobi being Obito, but I knew if Kishimoto did it, there would have to be a HUGE explanation; and within that, I knew Obito's resolve for being evil would be incredibly weak. As I've said before, he seemed much more interesting as Tobi than as Obito. But that's just a personal opinion.

I have seen this whole story through before it happened the one thing I didn't see was him doing this to bring rin back. I thought this was for peace and to escape hell so I always wanted tobi to be obito so we could get an epic back story of his pain.

Tobi being obito is still the best thing for this story and has more impact then any other character would.

I am 100% not bias just because I like something or want it to happen I am never blinded where I ignore all inconsistencies. That's why I was trying to tell people he is obito and there are no plot holes because I have looked at the manga carefully.

Imo Kishi should of left the reason as "I'm in hell" it would of been so much better and I would agree with obito's reasons.

I believe he is doing it for both. Why else would he actually remembers Madara's words about reality, instead of Zetsu's words about the dead brought back to life only? (if that's really the main reason).

One of the plus points of the Moon plan is that he'll be together with Rin and Kakashi (a perfect world would mean that she's alive, hence "I'll create a world with you in it"), but... why he himself wants to be in a genjutsu and why he wants the entire world to be in a genjutsu are two different things. He could've just revived Rin, but that wouldn't fix the hopeless state the world is in. Infinite Tsukuyomi is introduced as more of a threat than a solution, but from Obito's POV he genuinely believes he's saving the world, that he has described as worthless and filled with misery. And he's right in a way, because war and hatred would actually cease to exist if he were to succeed.

And before all of this went down, he already has shown his annoyance with the still standing ninja system (crushing the idea of a "real" shinobi speech). However, I do agree with you a bit. The recent chapter makes it seem like Obito is doing everything for Rin, even though the full picture isn't really like that. Aaand I was hoping to get more backstory on his parents or if there was a specific reason why he wanted to become hokage.

Anyway, the story isn't over. We still need to find out why he attacked the Leaf, helped Itachi with the massacre and why Kakashi killed Rin. These revelations could actually throw a different light on the story.

P.S. I recommend reading the *********** version. They are usually better than mangapanda, but I felt a lot less disappointed after reading their translation.

Wtf he's not trying to revive rin he wants the Moon eyes plan to make the justu where everybody is together and perfect. Where in the manga does it say he want to revive rin??? Read the manga
