it's called plot hole! I mean seriously his motivation seems weak and so much unlike him it feels silly, to me atleast. Alot of people keep asking about why Obito had the EMS simple, he wasn't intended to be Tobi the author decided to do it somewhere along the road for the dramatic reveal.
