A lot of theories confirmed - more questions arise.

Hello everyone.

Why this was indeed a meaty chapter filled with juicy details (enough with the food already!) I can't help but feel more...inquisitive than before. Feel free to theorize and discuss these following questions:

1 - What's with the black rod coming out of the Statue? What does it do?

2 - How long did Madara and Obito train together? I doubt Madara just said "alright, you've agreed, now I can go ahead and die"

3 - Why did Obito simply stop caring about everyone?

4 - Is there any redemption now for Obito?

5 - What is the Rikudo no Jutsu?

6 - We once again see the eye with the tomoes. The eye of the Ten Tails. Any speculations as to what exactly it can do?

7 - (Special question) - Does this remind anyone else of The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess? Zant and Ganondorf have the exact same relationship as Madara and Obito do, I find the similarities...uncanny. Also, Obito reminds me an awful lot of Prince Zuko from Avatar...

The black rod was explained -> go re-read the chapter again. ;)

Most likely there was a short time skip while Madara taught Obito stuff.

Obito apparently only cared about Rin.

Redemption for Obito? Only right before he dies. He's killed too many people to be able to change his ways and continue living - people wouldn't accept it.

The Rikudo no Jutsu is a jutsu used by Rikudo xd Specifically the jutsu used to summon the Mazo

LMAO @ Zant and Ganondorf xd

1.They said the black rod is Madara's will in a physical manifestation.
2.Rin died, so he lost faith in the ninja world.
3.Madara doesn't need his entire to teach him jutsu, just his hands
4.Probably no redemption
5.Rikudo no Jutsu is the sealing technique they use.

I think Obito may have a change of heart before he dies and realizes his mistakes

1. Madara's " will ", probably to control Gedou Mazou
2. I believe that was the case. After he killed everyone, he came back to proceed with the Moon's eye plan. Which I guess Madara gave him the steering wheel, and had Obito succeed the plans for later date.
3. He cares about Rin, who was killed in front of him by his best friend/rival. The plan will have everything perfect, and with Rin in it too so he became a solid block that will move ahead with his plans no matter what.
4. Maybe? Until he heads kakashi's side of the story, there might not be.
5. All 7 path's abilities I believe.
6. I don't know how to answer that actually lol!

Obito will either have a change of heart right before he dies and do some big gesture to save the ninja world (like a lot of other villains in this series) or he'll be on the verge of death and say something along the lines of:
"Rin... I get to see you now. Sorry for all the stuff I did. Hope you can forgive me. *croaks*"

It's Madara's will in physical form. But why and what does it do?

Yeah I don't think he learned everything instantly.

No, my guess is that something snapped. But he became very cold very quickly...

I know I know, but I still want him to survive. I don't know why, but I think he should. Feels so evil to just re-introduce him and then throw him back into the grave.

And yes. I think Zant and Ganondorf is exactly like Obito and Madara...I mean, you can see the similiarities, can't you?
