How could nagato/tobi multiply his rinnengan?

I was wondering how nagato and tobi could do that cuz the only have one pair?
is there a special technique or is is just a fact that if you have rinnengan you can multiply it?!

but if you just take those copied eyes could you use them too ?
cuz kakashi could controll the sharingan to and if not a normal shinobi could do that what about an uchiha?

The 6 path technique gives the rinnegan to 6 bodies,each body possesses one ability.for example,one can revive the dead,one can push/pull objects,one can summon powerful cretures.unlike the 6 paths,nagato can use all the abilities himself.hop

It's a technique thats considered the "7th" or "Outer Path" i believe, which allows the possessor of the rinnegan to seperate his other six abilities among six bodies as well as have a shared field of vision, as though you were sitting in a security booth with 6 different tvs to watch security feeds with.
