He kills Kabuto.
The Edo can control them self.
And from 1 vs 37, Naruto needs only Itachi to win.
Even if some don't turn with Naruto, he has enough chakra to blow them from the ground to the moon and more....

yeah he absorbed some of orochimarus power m but so what , he perfected the edo tensai by himself , because he is so smart , he went up digging graves , searching for dna , made madara to look younger , gave him his rinnegan again , he went to the snake sage & learned ssm , then it wasnt enough for him , he became an effing dragon , + plus he got jugos , sugsitsus & karin arsenal , the guy became practical invincible , AT LEAST GIVE HIM CREDIT . Well, before getting stripped of his implants he was, indeed, a top tier shinobi.
He got defeated by the Uchiha bros, right, but certain circunstances were recquired to beat the guy.
First of all, Itachi would never be able to break free from Edo Tensei by himself. If it wasn't for that misfired KA he would never be available to fight Kabuto. He just happened to have the same trigger as Sasuke (Itachi's eyes, or in his case, an edo replica of them) and had the luck to fight the same guy he stored the crow within.
Second, the aforementioned accident left Itachi with an undying body and unlimited chakra reserves. He would never be able to survive the wounds he got in that fight if he wasn't a zombie, he wouldn't be able to spam MS techniques like he did either because of his otherwise low stamina. In other words, Kishimoto basically removed Itachi's main weakpoint for that fight.
Third, Kabuto's other zombies were busy fighting in a war. You can't just remove pieces from a chessboard once the battle is in motion, it cripples your defense lines and gives an easy victory to the enemies somewhere. So, if he is attacked in a war scenario his best move is unavailable. I will not say Kabuto can control over 30 edo zombies at the same time, since he needs to constantly drain chakra from an external source (like Anko's cursed seal) to do so. However, being able to summon 5 or 6 edo zombies would make a huge difference in a fight against Itachi and Sasuke.
Kabuto is no longer powerful and is back to Jounin level, but you can't just deny he was once one of the most powerful shinobi in the world. He definitely was superior to Itachi and Sasuke, but got defeated due certain circunstances.

My point is he said on numerous occasions throughout that fight that they had no chance of defeating him...Kabuto could have easily reversed summon at least 2 Edo's back to help him but he didn't because he felt that he was far above the brothers and that was to his detriment

Not only that Edo Itachi was stabed by the cave which wouldv'e killed him if he was living and Sasuke had to be saved by Itachi and vice versa....and some people think Itachi is better than Nagato and some think Sasuke is top ten :rofl:

That was a nice piece you put together there...but I'll tell you this the three times that Itachi supposedly had died was all fluke meaning when he was caught by the first jutsu that made him look like a pin cushion he saved Sasuke Kabuto even admitted that Itachi was slowed because of that...

Second when he was sliced in half Izanami was already released so it didn't matter at that point

Third when Itachi got stabbed it turned into a bunch of crows...Kabuto was strong I won't deny him that but he lost in his so called perfect form...and the uchiha brothers could not fight to kill so they were holding back...Sasuke wanted to kill him numerous times

About the whole chess game the akatsuki had +20,000 man advantage with 100,000 zetsu's vs 80,000 of the joint shinobi army...so what your telling me is he couldn't call back one like Muu for instance...who clearly did nothing with Madara being out their anyway

Like the man said above, it took an Edo Itachi and EMS Sasuke to defeat someone(who sucks in your eyes) who had the intent to capture. By my estimation, Itachi died once and they were both caught in a genjutsu twice during the fight. They must suck!!

Look dumbass since you want to go there why did he need anko's curse seal which Had more of Oro's chakra in it to further increase his strength...Oro had a special life force which Kabuto stated earlier when he spoke to naruto and Hinata when he first showed himself after infusing himself with Oro's remains...he said it was so powerful that it started trying to take over his body...and that he needed to go and master it before he went to go fight Sasuke and later Naruto...Remember him saying that dumbass...That's the reason he was able to master DSM dummy because he said I went from a snake (hence Oro's powers) to a dragon...So no I don't think that would have been enough
