This is a more serious thread than the last one.
Ok me and my friend were texting and I asked him what he thought about what was happening in Naruto and he doesn't have a problem with it unlike me.

As we continued texting he said, "You know what, I want Tobi to get back his sharingan, he would be more badass."
I replied "Wouldn't that be a downgrade?"
He said "No not at all, he would obtain the EMS."
I read it and laughted really hard and thought to myself, "My friend is really stupid." but then I began to think about it.

The most significant argument is that it's his own eye, I don't think you can get a EMS from your own eye.

Ok so lets analyze why it would be possible...
Kakashi awakened the sharingan even thought it was Obito's. Meaning that if he took it back he could obtain new light because he didn't awaken it himself . That may not be how it works but everyone who has obtained the EMS, took it from someone who already awakened the MS.
The argument towards myself is that it hasn't happened before, so I don't think it's likely to happen. Also, he would have only one EMS since he awakened the other. I also thought, why would he need it, I doubt he uses it much.

What do you think about this?

Obito has no chance of awakening the Eternal Mangekyo for the reasons you stated above. This is why he wants sasuke get EMS (obv for his own benefit)

EMS can only be obtained through taking the eyes of you're sibiling.

But if the uchiha has senju DNA i guess it doesn't allow the user to go blind as well.

First off Kakashi did not awaken the sharingan. Obito awakened before he was crushed under the rocks. He then gave the awakened sharingan to Kakashi. So the argument gets busted there.

It could also be said he did not awaken MS it was awakened because of the connection with Obito awakening the MS he still had. The two eyes are linked so when one upgrades so does the other. But that currently is speculation and cannot be proven at this point.

But besides that as others have stated the manga has clearly stated you need the eyes of a sibling to obtain EMS.

I think that Kakashi awaked it himself, killing your own teammate is hard. Depite what happened..

Your right, they provided proof and it's all settled now.
