Does anyone read/watch Claymore?

I dont know any other Claymore fans so this is a call-out to the Claymore viewers :3

And for the people who aren't familiar with Claymore...here's a short sum-up of the story-line:

In a medieval world, villages are being attacked by the youma, demons that can take the appearance of their victim. The only people who can stop them are the Claymore, a group of young women named for the swords they use. They are half-human, half-demons who, mostly unwillingly, became Claymore.

As a manga, its a must-read.
As a anime, its decent though the end of the show strays away from the manga

I highly recommend you read the manga if you even read manga at all.
The anime is great but the ending is dissapointing. The continuing story-line of the manga is captivating

Yes, indeed :/ because the ending didnt follow the manga. The anime makers budget wasn't enough ;(

When I mean gruesome I mean like the recent chapter of Naruto we got or more.

I have seen it at my library and have been tempted to read it but am not sure. Could you give me some points into why you like it please?

Ok I'll sum up why its so good:

1. The story-line has an interesting plot. At first, it might seem like a simple story with just sword swinging and monster killing but the story quickly enhances and the plot will get as good as the Naruto manga.

2. The drawing style is captivating and simply looks bad-ass like the picture i added in this thread

3. The character building is magnificent. You could compare it to the boxing anime Hajime no Ippo in which each fighter is respected. There is no simple- good guy bad guy story.

4. Its a serious story for the people who prefer a manga with less silly moments. Like Death Note.
