according to this website the legend of the bijuus the eight tails was a snake and a few other bijuus where different than how they appear on the show/manga except for the 1 tail, 2 tails and 9 tails.. well his color was red according to the legends

How could it be real if it is only a legend?

The Bijuu from Naruto are derived from Japanese legends. None of them are real.

yeah , dont get me wrong i like the way kishi did his bijuus , but i also think the 8 tail snake would look pretty cool
