Orochimaru and his arms

Suigetsu said that Sasuke only beat Orochimaru because '' he couldn't use either of his arms due to the shiki fuukin '' chp 593 p02. But didn't Orochimaru's arms get back to normal at the end of Part 1 ?

His soul arms are apparently still sealed so he shouldn't be able to use ninjutsu that requires arms and for the most part he doesn't. He does on one occasion though, when he summons the Triple Rashomon gates. And he appears to be able to use his arms for taijutsu.

I remember seeing him in orochimaru vs 4th tail naruto and his arms looked just fine. They weren't rotting like in the end of part 1. Plus didnt he use his arm to stop sasuke's chidori ??? I doubt he could have done that if his arms were still damaged, remember how he couldn't even use kuchiyose by himself, oro vs jiraiya and tsunade ?

And that's what I mean by there's contradiction surrounding this topic. It was never elaborated on.

There is a huge diference between '' being at the weaken state '' and '' not being able to use his arms due to shiki fuujin ''. There is really a lot of confusion surrounding that topic like someone earlier pointed out

Kabuto found a way where oro could transfer to other peoples bodies, but it needed many sacrifices in all groups of ages, for instance when Oro fights Naruto when Yamto disguises as Sasori, he can use his hands, but after some time they have to escape cause the effect starts wearing off. Oro then asks kabuto about his blood type, because they had to use one of kabutos bodies to make a diversion to stop them from being tracked. If you remember, they faked Sais death with a corpse. They then needed this corpse to give oro some life energy for his arms again, so he thought of using kabuto, but his blood type was no match..

I think its just that he couldn't do any hand seals. IIRC, he didn't use any hand seals when summoning the rashomon's or using his various snake jutsu against naruto. But like others have said, there has been a lot of contradiction.

Oro cannot do ninjutsu with handseals (due to shiki fujin).
They found ways that makes him capable of moving his arms though.

He was in a weakened state because the body he had taken over was starting to reject him. Now about his arms. We know the bodies he takes over are just a shell to hold his soul but his real body is that of a white snake. When he does the whole process of taking over a body, he reveals his true form, then he proceeds to taking over their consciousness in a separate plane he takes them to. There the next step is taken. The new host 'mind' is taken over in his mental plane he takes her or him to. So he may be just pouring his consciousness into them thus gaining control over there body and soul. Any damage done to him physically, like say the soul in his hands being sealed (ninjutsu), they happen to the host not him.

in that picture sasuke succeeds in reviving Orochimaru by pulling his consciousness out of Anko's cursed seal and transferring it into the physical form Jūgo provided by absorbing some of Kabuto's flesh.

Orochimaru had already transferred to a new body by the time he versed naruto in his 4th tailed state. That body was Gen'yūmaru..

The dialogue suigetsu had explaining orochimarus arms not able to work briefly after his revival got me confused. Maybe he's talking about something else that kishi hasn't talked about yet. Maybe his facts are outdated or something

I doubt suigetsu's facts could be outdated, he knew a lot about orochimaru. Kishi wil explain this hopefully. He really got me confused cuz i thought oro's arms prob was solved by the end of part 1
