For me it would be:

Itachi & Rock Lee Vs. Minato & Gaara.

Unfortunately Rock Lee will be fodderized in this match up leaving Itachi fighting Minato & Gaara, and to put it simply Minato & Gaara > Itachi.

So list what your match up would be, and explain who and why they would win.

Pretty much what you said. Itachi VS Minato would be a close match even though I think Itachi would pull it off more times than not. Gaara now will destroy Rock Lee with utter ease. Adding a chunin to a kage level fight is always a bad idea.

My top 2 favourites are Sasuke and Temari while my third and fourth favourites are Madara and Itachi. My third and fourth favourites stomp with low/negligible difficulty with Madara being able to solo with mid difficulty tops.
