As titled, if their bonds were strong, Kakashi should have activated 3 tomoa Sharingan or even the Mangekyou Sharingan when he witnessed Obito being crushed by the huge boulders. ok guys, when i say Obito being crushed by the rocks, I meant the final part when Obito was crushed and Kakashi escaped with Rin. (NOT the initial crushing)

After Obito's "death", Kakashi remained with 2 tomoa.

To think he always put Rin and Obito on his mind...

Kakashi isn't an Uchiha so whatever sharingan he gets it's at the mercy of the original owner. THat's why Kakashi got MS to begin with. Or that's just how I see it.

Kakashi had the Sharingan AFTER Obito was crushed so the emotional trauma he suffered at the moment was before he got the sharingan.
If he would've had the sharingan when Obito was crushed than surely given the trauma he had been suffered then 3 tomoe sharingan or Mangekyo could've appeared.

That's why when he killed Rin, being such a traumatic moment, he awakened the Mangekyo..

When he witnessed the crush? He didnt have sharingan.
Its like saying sasuke doesnt love his mom because he shd have awaken mangekyou straight away. Or sasuke doesnt love oro

It's called post traumatic stress and the impact from the actual initial trauma is gone.
Their sharingan was on par.

All of this "Obito unlocked the mangekyou for Kakashi" and "Kakashi unlocked the mangekyou for Tobi" is ridiculous. It's so obvious from kishi's art that Obito and Kakashi unlocked there ms at the same time with the latter passing out.

This thread already has an answer. What is it LO3? Obito and Kakashi had just started bonding like what...30 minutes before Obito's "death". That's not enough time to bond with someone to the degree you unlock your ms at their death...but two people on the other hand was enough for Kakashi to unlock the ms (Rin's death + obito's death = ms kakashi), while it only took one person to die for Obito to unlock his, being that he LOVED Rin to death....LITERALLY!
