Will Violence Ever End?

Violence hurt us all!

Who has not been affected by violence? We see it constantly in it's news reports. We fear it on the streets and at work, and children face it from bullies from school. Even at home, where people usually feel secure behind locked doors, millions-especially women-feel unsafe. In fact, depending on the country, up to 70 percent of women report that they have been assaulted.

In many countries, people fear violent political or social uprising or even torrorism. These fears are reflected in the increase level of electronic surveillance evident in some lands, especially those that have been a target.*

Understandably, the video-surveillance industry is blooming-depite the global economic downturn. Who pays for all of this? We do, in form of taxes and other fees. And such cost may well increase as security measures became more invasive, pervasive, and expensive.*

The disturbing truth is we all have a problem with this. With are beliefs and backgrounds. Does the media have a play in this? Are we influence by this with the games we play or the stuff we watch? How can we protect ourselves? What do YOU think?

Hopefully one day it will end, though I'm not sure how.

I think it is rather unlikely.
I mean, unless someone who's really good at making even the dullest mind understand the horror of it appears, I think it more likely we will die out before any such thing is achieved..

It's a really tiring battle trying to make someone understand this, just try convincing idk, 7 billion?

It would be nice if it would end one day, but it won't. Even if people would stop their physical violence, there is still verbal violence which shouldn't be underestimated either. It is almost like human instinct, if you are angry, like out of your mind angry, you will scream, curse, hit something/someone. It will not end.

In every society ever in the history of this planet, there has always been some sort of war. Many of these societes have tried to eliminate crime, all with varying degrees of success. There is violence now always has been always will be no matter how hard we try to change it U_U

nope sadly it wont, racism, poverty, drug addiction, will never go away either. there will always be douchebags just like there will always be lazy mofos asking for a handout. the only thing we can do is our best to understand and educate those who are willing.

another question if jesus showed up tmrw with open arms, would anyone even care.

It never will. Violence is part of nature and even though humankind is trying very hard to bend nature to their will, there are limits.

Yes! Definitely.

Ask the Jehovah's Witnesses when next you see 'em.

It's possible. Every single person in the world will have to put their differences aside and become one.

That's highly unlikely though, most people are to prideful for such a thing.
