IMO if Yamato makes it back alive, his Mokuton will be on par with Madara's or even better. Just for the mere fact that he is practically one with Hashirama DNA statue. Who's to say that it won't make his chakra/life force stronger

I'm not saying he will only have Madara wood techs because he created techs before on his own. I'm just saying maybe his wood techniques would look like thick forest tree roots and not like lumber.

I don't know, I mean his cells are that of Hashiramas so that would ultimately mean that his chakra levels are still low.
Since I remember that building the bridge training ground for Naruto, he was exhausted right away.
