Edo Uchiha's.. or lack of

I've been wondering this for quite some time, why were Itachi and Madara the only Uchihas revived? Of course they're 2 of the strongest Uchiha ever but surely the other Uchiha weren't so weak that they weren't even worth reviving. Madara had to be one of the hardest people to find DNA on to revive and no one knew where he truly died except Obito. while the entire Uchiha clan was slain in one location that everyone knew. I know that they weren't all crazy strong MS users but to call the Uchiha clan, which has been called the strongest clan, fodder would be ridiculous. Thoughts?

edit: altho i also believe shishui should have been revived cause he'd have gotten ka back and apparently he was pretty powerful

Of course Madara and Itachi are way more powerful than the rest of the clan but they wouldn't be fodder. They'd at least be able to give k11 a run for their money, which I would love to see. Also like someone said, Shisui would have been an amazing addition to Obitos army, a nice Itachi / Shisui reunion would be cool too.

The more bodies you bring back, the harder it is to control them from an emotional standpoint as we see when Sasori and Sai's brother are released on an emotional understanding and being at peace.

The Uchihas were at best Jonin level shinobi with talent for the fire style. Itachi and Madara (also Shisui) are all on a league above their Uchiha bretheren. Also, the people Kabuto brought back all had an exceptionally powerful skill or trait that made them stronger than the average Uchiha.

Kabuto chose the highest caliber shinobi to bring back, and the fact that two of them were Uchiha's just shows how many strong shinobi the clan produced. Not every member of the clan can unlock the sharingan...and even then some people are even stronger than those Uchiha who do. Look for example the fact that Kakashi said during the chunin exams that Sasuke even with the sharingan, couldn't beat Neji at the time.

Nice explanation, that makes alot of sense +rep. Hadn't thought about difficulty in controlling more bodies. Surely there were a few other decent Uchiha worth bringing back. I mean he brought Dan back lmao

Kabuto wanted to bring shisui back as an edo but didn't have his dna. Also madara and itachi are exceptionally more powerful than your average uchiha. Like itachi said the name uchiha only denotes your roots. Why didn't kabuto bring back izuna, they say izuna was just as powerful as madara before he got ems.
