Some people still say Itachi can spam his MS more than Kakashi.
And so I am here, to prove these people wrong.

Before you read it, be aware that there is some basic maths besides descriptive arguments to prove my point. If you don't like it for some reason, or think that using math for analysis of manga is overthinking stuff and stupid in general, don't read it. But if you don't read it, don't reply to it.

The analysis is divided into three parts.

How many and what techniques can Kakashi perform on his current chakra reserves?
First of all, let's count techniques used by Kakashi during this war.
-1st Raikiri
You must be registered for see images
-2nd Raikiri
You must be registered for see images
-3rd Raikiri
You must be registered for see images
-4th Raikiri
You must be registered for see images
-Kage Bunshin
You must be registered for see images
-5th Raikiri
You must be registered for see images
-6th Raikiri
You must be registered for see images

Now things start to get intense...

-1st Kamui
You must be registered for see images
-7th Raikiri
You must be registered for see images
-2nd Kamui
You must be registered for see images
-3rd Kamui
You must be registered for see images

Then, Kakashi states he can use Kamui a few more times. A few means at least 3.
You must be registered for see images

-4th Kamui
You must be registered for see images

Now his remaining chakra is enough for at least 2 kamuis.

Yeah, that's great, but what does it tell us about Kamui's chakra consumption?
Time to move on to second part of the post, or should I say, stop counting and start the fricking analysis. U_U

We know that summing the chakra required for all these techniques, we get should, in theory, get 100%. I will explain later why it might be slightly different, though.
Anyway, let's take "r" for amount of chakra needed for Raikiri and "k" for amount of chakra needed for Kamui. We don't take into account the amount of chakra needed for Kage Bunshin, because we know the formula:

chakra is divided evenly among the clones and the user. In this case, chakra used for Kage Bunshin, calculated in per cent, will be (100-4r) divided by 2.
It's not just 100/2 because Kakashi already used 4 raikiris before that.

Now, let's write down the equation, then.

7r +(100-4r)/2 + 6k = 100
7r + 50 - 2r + 6k = 100
5r + 6k = 50
10r + 12k = 100

As we can see, even though it's at the moment impossible to calculate chakra consumed by Kakashi's Kamui, we can clearly see that starting at full stamina Kakashi can use 12 kamuis with ease and still have chakra for 10 raikiris!
That's clearly more than Itachi could during his fight against Sasuke.
Now, we can modify the equation to get even better info on Kamui's chakra consumption:

6k = 50 - 5r
k = 8.3 - 0.83r

This shows that Kamui requires less than 8.3% of Kakashi's current chakra reserves.

Holy shit, I finally know how much chakra Kamui consumes, yay!! ...or do I?
The last thing to do is explain why this is not absolutely true and saint.

What may indicate that Kamui consumes even less chakra:
-We have not seen most of Kakashi's fight vs the swordsmen. It's very likely that he used some techniques during it, which is further evidenced by the fact that Kakashi is using a Raikiri on the first panel on which manga returns to his fight.
-The same goes for his fight against Obito and Gedo Mazo. Manga didn't show part of this fight, and when it returned to it, Kakashi was seen in the middle of using Raikiri on Gedo Mazo.
-"A few kamuis" at minimum is 3, but it might be for example 4 or even 5.
-In the analysis, Kamui's chakra consumption was assumed to be the same for every Kamui. This is wrong, but that was the only way to make any analysis at all. Even though Kakashi used small Kamuis and a big one (Gedo Mazo) which probably balances out a little, we cannot tell whether normal Kamui (that is, human sized) isn't less chakra-consuming than calculated.

What may indicate that Kamui consumes more chakra:
-In fact, it's the same reason as the last posted for "less" arguments. Kamui's chakra consumption varies and therefore, normal Kamui might consume more than calculated.
-Kakashi has been fighting for a long time now. While on one hand this shows us how good his stamina is, on the other hand, there is a possibility that some of his chakra regenerated during this long period. We have no idea whether this is possible when one uses chakra up without any longer breaks, though.
-Kakashi might have his chakra restored between battles or by Kyuubi's chakra cloak. There is zero indication to this, however.

All in all, even though it's not possible to calculate exact chakra consumption, I think this analysis is the closest thing possible to give us general outlook on the matter. Hope you enjoyed it. :D

There were several small mistakes in the analysis that I have just corrected. Hope there are not any others, but if you find some, let me know! Thanks for reps. :)

there is nothing in the manga the provides anyone with the tools to methodically measure the consumption of chakra is needed for kamui anything you say is purely speculative

You should probably read the last part. That's where I stated the reasons why this analysis doesn't tell us Kamui's absolute chakra consumption.

Besides, there is nothing wrong with using maths for this. When part I Kakashi stated he could use Raikiri only 4 times during one day, it means that after using 4 of them, he would have very little chakra left, correct or false? So we can safely say that his Raikiri consumed about 1/4 of his chakra back then.

This analysis is the same - taking facts from manga (in this case, number of techniques used and Kakashi's statement) and drawing conclusions from it. It's just a little more advanced.

You forgot the other kage bunshin vs gedo Mazo and the other raiden to cut Gedo Mazo's hand.

His chakra reserves will be explained either by plot no jutsu or the kyuubi's chakra cloak.

He stated prior to using raiden that he was worried about his chakra reserves. Shortly after, he and Gai both were enveloped by the kyuubi's cloak.

It was also hinted that him warping away the TBB's would have depleted his chakra.

You don't go from "worried about chakra" to spamming kamui 4 times, using raikiri to enhance a kunai and raiden without some sort of rejuvenation or plot kicking in.

I didn't include the other kage bunshin because it could in fact be the same Kage Bunshin he created earlier.
As for the raiden, I think I've included it. Check 6th Raikiri spoiler in the analysis, that's probably what you mean.

Of course he was worried about chakra, why shouldn't he? He knew the fight will be a long one, the fact he was worried about chakra doesn't mean he was low at chakra at that moment.
Just look, his worries came true, he has pretty little chakra left now.

And no, unless it's stated in the manga that Kyuubi's cloak restored his chakra, then this is just a speculation. For now, the "official" version is that Kakashi has been using his own chakra all this time.

Nothing indicates nor even hints at there being a way to measure the consumption of chakra needed for kamui and anything you say is purely speculative and amounts to nothing more then a theory. Not to mention sometimes your not even basing anything off anything of real substance your making assumptions based on literally nothing as you noted that kakashi had a raikiri in his hand when the manga shifted back to him.Your whole theory rest on you assuming how things went down since kishi did not focus on that fight. It would be better if you actually based your theory off of something we can actually see and not just assumptions
we know he has very low chakra intakes from the start so three things are possible given what we know so far in the manga itself.
A. he uses the minimum amount of chakra using what is needed and nothing else citing elevates chakra control(some can argue why hasnt he always done that then since using kamui earlier in the manga tired him out and now it doesnt well
how can you learn to utilize a justu to use the efficient amount of chakra unless you train with it ? nothing can be mastered right away and just because you learn how to control one justu does not mean it takes the same amount of time for every justu esp of its a dojustu that does originally belong to you in the first place.Second there is these things called soldier pills you can argue that he did not take them although there is no reason not to believe he would take them he is in a war why would he refuse to take them ? is kakashi somehow more arrogant then madara now ? and third is based off what he said
right before his initial clash with the tailed beast when guy went 6 gates kakashi said he was worried about his chakra but he also knew it was a situation he could not back out from and then proceeded to make a clone and stretch out his lighting blade making a lightning chain that was at the beginning of his battle now in present time he is being held up by guy what this last one is indicating is he has not magically gained new chakra levels but is playing a deadly game and his on the border of using to much of his chakra he is using up all his chakra to get the job done and is probably running on his life force though obviously not to the point were he has keeled over in defeat but enough to where he needs guys support to stand

First of all, this wall of text is rather unclear, you should make some paragraphs.
Second of all, the only assumption I made in this analysis is that Kamui always consumes the same amount of chakra. In the same post, in part 3, I explained why this assumption was necessary - otherwise there would be no analysis at all.

I explained all the possible things that might affect the reliability of these calculations. Now it's up to you to decide whether Kakashi at full chakra can use 8 kamui instead of calculated 12 or 16.
This is just analysis, there is no conclusion. This was made in order to encourage people to make their opinions on this subject and show them the the approximate number of Kamuis Kakashi can use.

Hope we're good now.

Yes, him being worried at the time does mean his chakra reserves were low. He doesn't go from being (with him at full strength prior to using it), and saying another kamui to this. There's no explanation for such a drastic increase. Use some logic here.

Medical nins heal physical wounds, they rarely restore chakra. Just as in case of "Kyuubi's cloak restoring chakra" theory, there is nothing to back it up besides people's opinion that "Kakashi should have less chakra".

First of all, Kakashi clearly wouldn't faint after using 2 kamuis at full stamina. :sy: Even at the beginning of part 2 he used 3 kamuis in a row, one of which was a big one and remained concious.

He might have meant other consequences of using Kamui, ex. his mobility. Kakashi didn't say anything about fainting explicitly. As Sakura is a medical ninja, she might be able to help him with that. Notice that he specifically talked to Sakura at this time, not to both of them or Naruto.

And once again, I'll have to repeat myself, him worrying about chakra was because he was about to lose half of his current chakra, God damn it. At the same time he knew he will have to fight a long time and that because of this chakra loss, he will find himself exhausted soon. And look, that's exactly what's going on right now.

It's more "there's no reason/explanation for Kakashi to have this much chakra".

There's much more evidence of it being Kakashi being restored by the cloak than it is "Kakashi somehow quadrupled his chakra reserves in a very short period of time".
