[Discussion] Is it just me or did Obito grow A LOT after staying in that cave for so long?

I think he got a lot taller, his face got longer, and of course his hair grew as you can see. Do you agree with me that he now looks about the same size as when he fought Minato? He doesn't need to take a crap, eat or drink, so he could easily have stayed in that cave for about a year. He is about 14 there. Growth spurt kicked in, did it not?

I'm assuming he found out Minato ordered Kakashi, that's why he was able to be manipulated by madara into targetting Konoha and attacking Minto

The timeline people are using is just a stupid timeline derived from the databook. Stupid if you ask me because more time between the attack on konoha and kanabi bridge is just way more logical.

He does seem to have grown a lot - but with that much modified senju DNA, I could seem him growing that quickly.

I mean, the healing process is just [accelerated cell activity] in the Narutoverse (for the most part), so that could directly affect the aging process of Obito during his healing.

From my personal experience in growing hair, he was in there for 8-12 months and he uses Pantene conditioner.

Yes, he should be 13 or 14 years old, cuz:

13 Years BSS - Events: Team Minato goes on a mission to destroy the Kannabi Bridge.
12 Years BSS - Events: Nine-Tails attack, under Obito's control.

There is only a year between these events, kind of, which means what happened on Chapter 604 is in between. So, there have been only few months. :shrug:

The growth it's easy to explain. They are in their teenage years, everyone grows up physically in their teenage years, even for small amount of time.
