My Madara theory

I think Madara was looking for an accomplice because he knew he was about to die. He needed uchiha in order to have them progress into rinnegan. <-- which is needed with senju blood. Which he could then use rinnegan rebirth to bring Madara back to live at full health but obito/ tobi found kabuto/Oro and found that they could make Madara with a edo tensi and he could be immortal. He also persuaded Nagato to form akatsuki to eventually get juubi (kill two birds with one stone) in an effort to cast infinite tsukiomi. Also obito uses the zetsu body do that he can get to the battle field just in time to witness rins death. This pisses him off greatly and leads to his 2tomoe to evolve into ms which could hint to kakashis ms

2nd Tobito didnt know that Madara could be brought back via ET untill Kabuto showed him the casket a week ago manga time.
