Please stop spreading that perfect-jins-are-immune-against-genjutsu.. Remember sasuke vs bee ? Bee got hit by tsukuyomi. He got out of it but the point is, he got hit. How is that immunity ?? I can understand why normal genjutsu wouldn't be effective against perfect jins but it would be different in tsukuyomi's case because of the ''time control''. In any case, perfect jins are not immune against genjutsus.

Yes but that only applies to Itachi's Tsukuyomi and no other genjutsu

I see a lot of threads with perfect jins > genjutsu.. Bee was a perfect jinchuuriki at that time but he still fell for sasuke's tsukuyomi. I'm just pointed out that it is not ''immunity against genjutsu'' just that the bijuu would get the perfect jin outta it

sasukes tsukuyomi is no where near as strong as itachis yet, he still has a long way until he masters it like what itachi went through and when he does who knows if bee could break out of it again or not

I realise sasuke's tsukuyomi is nowhere near itachi's.. But still Bee fell for it. That's not called immunity against genjutsu. If he were truly immune, he wouldn't have been struck by it at all. That's just logic

But they're still greater than genjutsu, unless that genjutsu is cast by Itachi.

when they say greater than they dont mean immun they mean there the only ones who can break out of it easialy because they are never fighting alone greater than does not mean immune

That's why I mentionned that it wouldn't be effective in a battle. Not effective and immunity are two different things. Ever played Pokemon ?

yes yes! i agree! genjutsu works on perfect jin but it takes time for the tailed beast to sense their host is on genjutsu. so that's not immunity. :)
if you're fighting one on one with a genjutsu user, your enemy has the advantage especially if you can't released yourself from genjutsu.
but if you have an ally who's not affected by a genjutsu, then he could make a body contact with you and use their chakra to disrupt the casters flow. same with the perfect jinchuuriki. all the tailed beast needs to do is disrupt the casters flow to release them from genjutsu.

I know, but I've been reading through a lot of threads about bm naruto that clearly stated among naruto's strenghts : immunity against genjutsu

Immunity means ability to resist or exemption from something.

What OP said is right. IMMUNITY is not the right word to describe Perfect Jinchuuriki's ability to get out of a Genjutsu.

As we can see hear, Killer Bee, a perfect jin, was caught in the Tsukoyomi for a moment and he was unable to move for a moment, so he failed to resist it. So it is indicative that Perfect Jins are not IMMUNE or EXEMPTED from genjutsu.

Perfect Jinchuurikis has an easy way to get out of Genjutsu but they are not immune to genjutsu.

Immunity is not just the right word.

Those were threads created by people in the NB, not by writers or the staff behind the Naruto Manga.

Nowhere in the manga can we see that says jinchuurikis are immune to Genjutsu. They are not immune to genjutsu, rather, they have an easy way to break out of it, through the help of their respective bijuu.

No one said that bee was immune to genjutsu the only fact is that perfect mins can use their bijuu to disrupt their chairs to break it instantly

Yes, but I felt like I needed to make this thread to sort this things out here. This is a discussion site. People took it for granted n never questionned the assumption

this^ the only exception is itachi's tsukyomi, the jinchuriki cannot react fast enough to break the host out of the genjutsu, as displayed by bee it took him about 3 seconds to recover or dispell the genjutsu via the jinchuriki where as itachi's tsukyomi only needs one second to deal massive amount of mental damage.

as seen here bee fell down because he was caught in the genjutsu considering sasuke's tsukyomi doesn't control time, bee was able to break it with the jinchuriki suffering little to no damage but itachi's tsukyomi is instant ( 1sec = 72 hours) the time taken to break out of it leave bee helpless

BING BING BING! you got it bro! you hit the jackpot! xd HAHAHA! just like what happened to kakashi when itachi used tsukoyomi on him. it only takes a second in the real world, but it takes a day? or a few? (cant remember) but in the meantime, we haven't seen a genjutsu user in narutoverse who has time control on their illusion.
