Madara and Obito

What is up with madara and Obito only taking one eye from people? When it shows old madara he said he gave he's eyes up, he replaced it but with only one sharingan eye why not two? And Obito killed konan for nagato's rinnegan but he only replaced the eye that he lost the light too. I'm guessing Obito did it to keep he's intangible ability maybe but not sure.

What does everyone else think?

Your right about Obito he wanted to keep his MS abilities and madara wanted to give his opponents a chance so he only implanted one his mistake was he got to old and by the time he knew it he could even leave his hideout without dying.

Apparently, Obito only needed one eye. Guess he took both in case he needed a back-up though.
