Notification for quoted forum post.

Can we have a notification if you get a quoted forum post?

And for the people who don't want it, an option to turn that notification on or off?

Do you mean through email or just as a regular notification? If alot of people quote you it could be pretty annoying. Though it could be pretty useful as well.

what i mean is for example; if you're in a thread and you ask a general question, and someone quotes your question and answers it, you get a notification for it.(a notification that someone has quoted your forum post-
the same way you get a notification for a visitor message or friend request... etc.)

It's much easier then one day remembering you asked a question then going through all the pages trying to figure out where your posted question was.

Well you can subscribe to the threads you want and you can get notified by mail whenever someone posts there.
I don't know if what you are asking is possible :s

I don't know if what you are asking is possible :s

lol it is a suggestion afterall, and i know other forums that have that option, it's very useful

lol it is possible, but imagine ppl (spammers, sorry grimm) who have a 120 posts a day average.....the notifications would be too annoying to them

This could actually be very very very helpful and useful actually

Yeah it could be a problem with those who spam but all in all it would actually be nice to have so you can see what others had to say about your post

also another thing that could be helpful is for those who are always making threads if they had a notification for when your thread got thanked XD

Yeah I am one of those who rarely look at my Control Panel XD
