Might Guy is a jōnin-level shinobi of Konohagakure and a major supporting character of the series. He is also the leader of Team Guy which consists of Rock Lee, Neji Hyūga, and Tenten.

Why Guy is Underrated
Inner- Gates
You see a lot of people saying that "Guy" is weak because he only knows Taijutsu. When in fact he's actually an incredible all around ninja that i think doesn't get's enough recognition. Which is why i made this thread.
Guy is one of Konoha's most powerful ninja, and a Taijutsu specialist. Despite considering himself a loser as a child, Guy is a very talented ninja, graduating from the Academy at age 7 and becoming a chūnin at age 11. Itachi Uchiha has, on numerous occasions, warned others against underestimating Guy. Given that Itachi and his accomplices are extremely dangerous ninja, such a warning is an indicator that Guy is an excellent combatant
Now let's have a look at why Might Guy is so dangerous for any opponent.

The Eight Gates are eight specific points on a person's Chakra Pathway System. They limit the overall flow of chakra within a person's body. The basis for the idea of the chakra gates comes from the body's limits on the functions within it. This makes the body much weaker, but it keeps the body from expiring too soon. By undergoing intense training, one can learn how to open these gates allowing the user to surpass their own physical limits at the cost of extreme damage to their own body.
In the picture i posted above you can see that Kakashi said that the Inner-Gates Allows one to surpass the hokages strength even if it's only for a short period of time. Now, considering that might guy isn't far of the Hokage's strength already ... Him opening the gates would allow him to surpass anyone in strength and almost in speed.
Now we ask ourself what does the Inner-Gates allow guy to do, Well .....
When Guy open's the Sixth Gate it allows him to punch so fast and hard that the friction from them allows him to shot Flaming balls for fire at his opponent. It also increases his muscles, speed and reflexes, which allows him to overpower most ninja.

I wanted to use this fight as an example of the power that guy actually has. I don't think people seem to grasp how actually strong guys attacks are ...
We all know Kisame is a very powerful ninja and doesn't need an introduction. Now let's think about it, Kisame is a water style type and he was underwater when he did one of his best jutsu against guy.
Now what do we see in the above pictures? We see that guy was able to counter one of Kisame water style jutsu underwater, with complete force, No Ninjutsu, Genjutsu just complete strength.
We all know Kisame is a very powerful ninja and doesn't need an introduction. Now let's think about it, Kisame is a water style type and he was underwater when he did one of his best jutsu against guy.

Guy may not have Ninjutsu or Genjutsu ... But you can see that even though he specialises in Taijutsu that he is a very well all rounded ninja, he has great knowledge on Genjutsu and knows how to counter the sharingan Genjutsu!
You can also see that he has "5" in speed and is equal to kakashi in speed...
I will admit kakashi won that race, but there wasn't anything in it! He's pretty much equal on kakashi on there challenges!

Summary !
I believe Guy to be a incredible ninja ... I'm not a fan boy i just watched a few old episodes of Naruto today and actually though about how incredible he is!
He might not have Flashy Ninjutsu but he's one tough Ninja ... Also he has more heart and passion than 99% of the people in Naruto...
We still haven't seen guy reach the 8th gate, which is the most powerful gate .. so i think we have yet to see the full power of the "GREEN BEAST". I could have put on him in this but i decided since most of you guys wont read there is no point, anyone who did read thanks
