Just because Person A can beat Person B doesn't necessarily mean Person A can beat Person C, there are many more factors to it than that. Honestly though, it's always tricky to put Naruto in these VS threads, especially young naruto as other than being surprising and resourceful Naruto was pretty untalented and before he learnt rasengan solved most of his problems with talk no jutsu.

Naruto doesn't have anything to talk no jutsu at Lee and anyway, i'm sure Lee would be going too fast to even pay attention- Rock Lee is simply too fast and destructive, unless Naruto goes fox demon he stands no chance.

ABC logic at it's finest. Neji damn near sh*t his pants when lee opened the gates. That leads me to believe he never saw that side of lee. The only reason lee got paired up with gaara is because he would have beaten everyone else with that technique at that time.

The problem with that is opening up all of those gates causes damage to the body so he wont use right off the bat by than Naruto can drop Gamabunta on him.

As I just said Naruto's only usable powers at this point are shadow clones and talk no jutsu, Gamabunta would likely kill Lee if he managed to 'somehow' drop him on Lee(?) Naruto wouldn't let that happen and then Gamabunta would be likely to attack/kill Naruto/everyone else at the exams. He didn't summon Gamabunta for a reason, trust me.

Lee is very fast and Naruto still has to make hands signs to summon. That is where Naruto gets his ass handed to him on a silver platter since Lee doesnt need hand seals to use taijutsu and could blitz him even more so than Kiba did back in the preliminaries.

If this is Preliminary exams, Lee takes this. Him & Gaara were the two strongest at that time. If this is end of Chunin Exams, I'd probably give it to Lee, but it wouldn't be too much of a stretch for Naruto to win.

This was weighted Lee who effortlessly crapped on base Naruto. I'm sure gated Lee would destroy even a nine tails chakra mode Naruto unless Naruto goes one tailed like he did in the VoTe. Sure Naruto was a bit stronger when he fought Neji but Naruto still wouldn't be on Lee's level. Also Gamabunta can be easily dodged but it won't even get summoned as it is out of character for Naruto to do so or Lee blitzes Naruto so hard that Naruto won't even be able to summon it. His shadow clones are destroyed by Lee with ease.

Weightless Lee should be enough unless Naruto's nine tails chakra comes into play.

im just saying how since this is predominantly a taijutsu bout, abc logic is actually fair game. its when ninjutsu comes inot it that different men are better against others rather than some. tai for example is a counter to fighters who absorb chakra or use puppets. against each other, not so effective. we saw how naruto can make a shitload of clones and assuming lee goes gates, he cant punch them all before realising real naruto is some rock lying on the ground before naruto springs up with a hundred more plus frog boss.
