Did Obito Really Control The Mizukage?

When the fourth mizukage was controlled, zabuza was still in ninja academy because during that time the mist village was called the blood mist village because of the fourth mizukage's actions while he was controlled. But the thing is, according to naruto databooks, zabuza and obito are of the same age.

When the series began Zabuza was 26, the same age as Kakashi who was also the same age was Obito, but when Zabuza was in the ninja academy and killed all of his classmates he was 9 years old. So that should mean by that time Obito should have been nine years old, but he died when he was 13 years old so he couldn't have controlled the mizukage.

So yeah something's kinda screwed up in the timeline. So maybe it was Madara who controlled the Mizukage because I read a theory in this site I think yesterday saying he may have controlled him by using a zetsu through the use of the tubes in his back or something like that.

It was never confirmed that Yagura, the Fourth Mizukage, actually started all that Blood Mist Village thing. It could have been the Kage before him.

Seems like it however there could be a new revelation. Its deffo not his kamui eye. That means its one of those sharingans he implanted that gave him this ability. The sharingan itself has a hypnosis genjutsu that allows the user to control the enemy however, that genjutsu i have a hard time believing could control somebody like yagura. It must be an ms genjutsu similar on scale of KA otherwise kishi is trolling yagura or has put the basic sharingan on an even higher pedestal

MS allows the power to control kurama, hashi his dna can as well, obito has both, why wouldnt he be able to pull it off vs 3tails and host?

I need someone to show me a scan saying Yagura was being controlled during the bloody mist era because honestly I don't remember anyone saying that.
The time we actually saw Tobi controlling the Mizukage (and meeting Kisame) happened after the Kyuubi attack though.

Exactly, man. Like how it took Naruto a longer time to graduate from the academy than the rest of his class, but they're all still very close in age.

If you fail, doesnt have to mean you have to do the whole year again. It could mean you just have to do the exam again like a month later (re-exam) like happens irl as well.

In that follow up year, he became chunin and he took that exam with rin and obito (who were 9).

How do you know it was the following year?!

Cuz it's not! Kakashi must have waited for others to graduate (it doesn't matter if they were or were not Obito or Rin) for him to take the Chunin Exam, cuz to enter it you need a team.

This is wrong. The 4th mizukage isn't that old. I can prove it, so it is 100 % sure....

Here you see Kisames memory of a mission he did for Fugaki, the fat guy of 7 swordsmen, who "Yagura" controlled by Obito, some years later made Kisame kill. Notice that Ibiki approaches Kisame.

It clearly proves Ibiki was also in the chunin exams at this time. From these 2 informations we can make a very qualified guess, that this scene:

Must be about the same year as the Uchiha massacre, since Kisame most likely joined Akatsuki a bit after Itachi, given from the scene, where he talks to Itachi about sharks (wont look for it..)

And to add another proof. The man Itachi approached to help him out with the Uchiha massacre had the exact same spiky hair, as the shadow we see behind Yagura.

He wasnt a chunin yet, when he took the exam with obito and rin.
He became one in that very exam, as seen in the manga.
