This is itachi vs. obito before his powerups from rennigan.
Here's how:
1. Genjutsu: You need not look into his eyes to trap you. Itachi has one of the best genjutsu technique in the naruto verse as stated by shikaku nara. Yes obito can possibly break it but would probably be already too late if itachi is damn serious because;
A. Use body-wide amaterasu attack while obito is trap in genjutsu. He may be released from the genjutsu because of the searing pain but too late.
(note: he escaped from the amaterasu attack from sasuke because the part hit was the artificial zetsu body)
B. Susanoo. I'm not saying just susanoo itself but "susanoo + sword of totsuka and yata mirror". *Zetsu said that with this combo. Itachi's susanoo or basically itachi himself is invincible.

>Sword of totsuka sealing capability. *I bet when you're about to be sealed you cannot move and escape it. I could've sworn obito can do nothing if nagato cannot even shinra tensei it in the last minute.
2. Shishui's eye. He gave it to naruto alright. But if he had it with him, he can turn obito to a loyal pet.
(note: i include this because of the time lapse itachi was in the akatsuki. He gave the eye to naruto not long before his death)
3. Brain. Nuff said.
Tobi needs to be tangible to attack, otherwise he cannot scratch itachi. But if he does, then he is in his most vulnerable. Honestly, why am i making this thread. I thought this was obvious until i read something.
