The mystery behind the masks???

So there's Tobi/the spiral Zetsu, the white Zetsu and the black Zetsu.

Who met Itachi? Or better who fought Minato?

- Tobi got introduced to us as the goofy/good boy character = Problem he appeared with hair and a mask, the Tobi-Suit covers the whole body not just parts of it.
I got the suspicion that Tobi/spiral Zetsu died and Obito was wearing that mask as a tribute to him or as a sign of loyality to him as a "friend", Kisame once said that Tobi/spiral guy was always someone that cheered everybody in Akatsuki up.

- Tobi shown against Minato and when he met Itachi had a different mask on = tribal style mask.

Tobis appereances:
long haired Obito wearing Tobi/spiral guy >(1. haircut) short haired Obito+tribal style mask attacking the leaf >(his hair grows again) long haired Obito+tribal style mask meeting Itachi >(2. haircut) introduction of short haired Obito+spiral mask.

I believe this will be explained next chapter. However I would really like to know as well. Obito/Tobi is starting to get complicated. XD

I think everything what u said is obito in zetus body. that it.. i knew it for a long time and im right finally! obito hair was long when he met kisame but later cut his hair and probably without zetus body when met minato and afterward because of what u see in manga zetus told obito that ur body is not ready i think its slowly heal.. when he fully control or something he can do this on his own.. then met itachi hair grow again then back to manga cut again.. this guy must be not cut his hair very much

He could have been using the spiral zetsu as his body and since we have seen that zetsu can give people chakra Madara would have been able to survive without being attached to the statue for his chakra.

So now you could still have Tobi is Madara, Tobi is a zetsu, and Tobi is Obito. So there could be three different theories that are correct.

Nah im sure just obito.. maybe something to do with zetus copy madara's chakra so make sure people might notice him as madara easy way to make people fear or respect him or whatever instead obito.. i will bet you all it was obito all along since met kisame to now

Well i doub't he was wearing any suit after he achieved his MS because he's obviously wearing Masks at that point not any Zetsu-suits. That is what is confusing me here.
