so if a zetsu clone can cover tobi's body and make a mask then was that zetsu still alive all this time or was it dead or did tobi just carve it?

maybe obito was called tobi since that zetsu clone was infused with obito all this time and that's why he is a good boy because that zetsu clone is nice and goofy so the tobi that deidara knew was probably the zetsu clone talking to him not the real obito.

the real obito is the one that turned serious and started the war so maybe this zetsu is still alive helping obito to formulate madara's plan all this time.

yea i think that zetsu helped obito out alot and even let him get passed the barrier and get to kushina birth place without detection and also could explain his personality.

maybe but tobi's arm was weak and maybe it was so strong and the reason why obito can't feel anything is because he still has that armour like how he blocked suigetsu sword with ease.
