As I already pointed out Itachi was 1 of the most powerful members in akatski....nd akatski members were being used 2 capture the tailed beasts...so he definitely wouldn't dare kill him...also then he would need new akatski members....and since akatski considered of S-class outcasts from each village it would be difficult 2 find a new member....let alone 2 replace som1 like Itachi...who was well known and feared by opponents from all villages....also he was an extremely efficient spy...but Tobi did keep qn eye on all the akatski members via Zetsu....so I do doubt even if Itachi did find out he would b able 2 change the end result that much....plus Itachi wasn't at his fullest capabilities as he was loosing his eyesight...but he was really strong none the less....Also according 2 Tobi's plan he only wanted 1 person the most not to find out.....Pain!!!

Obito's kamui suddenly becomes the greatest jutsu in shippuden, thanks to obito fan boys here. Minato countered it with his FTG, still he had to think just once to know that its the faster person that will win the clash back then. His jutsu is crap. Once u time it well, he is finished, as shown by Minato and kakashi.

I don't believe itachi has a problem with speed as far as we all know him. He is also highly intelligent which makes calculating tobi's move rather too easy for him. If they were too ever battle, obito-san wouldn't stand a chance. Let's be frank there.

Those claiming itachi can't touch tobi, forget that tobi has to materialize in order to defeat itachi. This gives itachi the upper hand here if u fan boys are too blind to see it. He ll just get the timing accurately and confuse him with his clones. And if he mistakenly tries to suck in any of his clones thinking its itachi, he just might get bombed by itachi's shadow clone bomb technique. From experience, even explosive tags work on obito, all u need is to get the timing right and as I said, itachi won't have any problem with calculations. He is a genius at that!

It has been established that itachi definetly could have killed obito by him saying "If Itachi knew my secrets Id be dead by now" which proves that Obito Definetly thought Itachi was MORE than capable of killing him. In fact, going by his words Obito was SURE that itachi he'd prove no match to Itachi.

2nd. Being crushed by that rock was the best thing to happen to obito because otherwise Itachi would have killed him in the massacre

There would be no massacre without Tobi. He was the one who helped Itachi after all.
