cause "most" asian people think that if your not skinny for your age or height that your unhealthy, but what im saying is that there underweight bad for age and height.

they are not skinny, they are thin. and not all of them. Kubo was making some seriously skinny characters. Kishimoto is making them quite normal, i don't know if you are referring to the databook stats, but imo these are highly inaccurate seeing their physique.

Seriously though, I have thought about that as well. They should all be ridiculously buffed, especially Lee and Guy. But then there's that scene where Naruto trains at that waterfall and he looks like he's really underweight. Weird.

like i no there normal, but look at how much they weight for there ages and heights? there like 30-50 pounds below there weight lol

With the amount of training they do, the dangerous missions which don't allow them to have a good rest or a decent meal, it's no wonder that most characters aren't overweight.
But they don't appear very skinny to me. Most of them have a good physique and they don't look overweight.
Also about Lee and Gai not putting on very muscle - either they have a special kind of training where they still get stronger but their muscles don't grow too much or their bodies just aren't fit to gain a lot of muscle.
