it doesnt matter that its a clone. madara has already shown that he is capable of countering narutos powers without dojutsu. naruto cant do anything to madara by himself and thats why bee is helping him.

What if Naruto was trying to figure out what power the fan has and made the clone for the purpose of finding out what the fan can do? It's too soon to speak yet.
