Do u call this a war?

U c none of the main characters have died even though most of the enemies(inc. the very strong ones) have been defeated. This dosent happen in a World War. Also all the kages seem to have survived nd Madara was too good to leave them in 1 piece. I hope that Tsunade would sacrifice her life nd make Naruto the next kage.
Any thoughts...

well madara doesnt like killing weak people anyway - important characters haven't died indeed but fodders have

just because no main characters havent died doesnt mean its not a war
its like saying 5 people you know and care for go to war and all five come back does that mean it wasn't a war

This^. Someone of Tsunade's rank would be unlikely to die in a war as well, fodder are meant to die in a war and that is what has happened, it isn't as unrealistic as people are making out at all.

also the only time a main character should die if its for the main plot because what would the relevant's be if say lee or shikamaru be in them dieing at a random point in the war just because its war
