Of course Obito will redeem himself somehow? I have a very, VERY hard time seeing Kakashi's childhood friend getting taken out without trying to make everything right again. Especially now that we're having this flashback that shows him wanting to go back.

It just...wouldn't be Naruto if he didn't become good again. And I actually think the story would suffer for it if he didn't.

Both of you are very wrong, Nagato changed sides due to the purity of his heart and his beliefs and ideals were the same as Naruto's plus they share a master.

Obito is not the same hatred has changed him just like it changed many Uchiha and he is fighting for a cause besides he owes Madara his life, to dishonor not only the one who saved you but also your own kind is worse then anything and as a Uchiha he won't change sides he would much rather die.
