What happens to Naruto characters after the flashbacks?

Well, it's kind of obvious that Obito and Madara will HAVE to be defeated at some point, right?

I mean, their flashback is necessary for explaining what happened, it is not one of those like "I might not make it so let's look at my childhood" kind of flashback. Make sense? They could easily lose very soon though somehow.
