I think this chapter confirms that Madara and Tobi are the same person. Of course, this Madara is just a shell of his former self. It's pretty obvious at this point that he combines his body with Obito's to become one. We know Obito wouldn't turn evil like that. I think it is because Madara took control over him.

Perhaps Tobi has two personalities?
When he's goofy and stupid he acts more like Obito would.
When he's serious and all that he acts more like Madara.

It makes perfect sense to me.

It doesn't truly, "Confirm it", but it makes a for a very possible reason why Tobi refers to himself as Madara and switches his personalities through Shippuden.

Don't you think it makes more sense that the Madara that met Obito became part of him?
