Why did Madara want to be revived through rinne tensei

Always thought you had to sacrifice your life in order to perform rinnei tensi but guess not. + rep btw

i did aswell, i though in general for revie jutsu there is balance one dies one is revived and etc...


But look at rinne tensei, nagato revived the whole village and only he died. also based from konan she said if nagato used rinne tensei in that current state(low chakra) he would die. Which seems to suggest that if nagato had his normal amounts of chakra he could revive ppl without dying, aslong as u have enough chakra.

Well thats my understanding, and besides nagato of all ppl wouldnt follow a plan to revive madara to just die himself. PPl forget nagato had his own plans too, remember the nuke jutsu. It just so happens both plans need the all the bjuu.

alot of ppl forgot this detail and say tobi was using nagato, which is bs since nagato knows madara himself and knew exactly what madara wanted from him, irrespectful what ever that noob tobi wanted.

And speaking of tobi, looks like he didnt want nagato to revive madara.

this statement comes to mind over and over when i see tobi and madara togther, "nagato was meant to use rinne tensei for my sakes"

i still dont know that that means, tobi doesnt have any sakes if hes following madara's plan. The plan is the plan unless tobi had different ideas all togther of world domination. MAkes sense now actually why tobi stole the rinnegan from nagato, he wanted to use infite tuksi for himself and leave madara out of it.

I wish now looking back, nagato killed tobi as he act of redemption instead of reving the village.

It sees to me that Nagato had no idea who the real Madara was. The fact that Nagato supposedly recived the rinnegan from Madara must mean that he was a very young child when Madara 'gave him' the rinnegan. Therfore, It seems to me that either nagato was too young to remember or Madara did it discretely. I thought that Nagato genuinely believed Tobi was Madara, if he knew more why didn't he tell Itachi or Naruto when he was revived with Edo. Nagato said it himself when he was revived, he was manipulated by Tobi.

When Tobi said that the rinne tensie was supposed to be for my sake he was posing as Madara so I suppose anything Tobi said during that time was true for the real Madara. My guess is that Madara took a gamble in giving nagato the rinnegan and telling Obito to persuade nagato in reviving him. however, this does'nt account for what Obito said when he said he persuaded Yahiko to start Akatsuki. if Obito did this it would make no sense, if it was Madara then he must have known Nagato.

Most likely uf Nagato had his full chakra he could revive anyone and whatever way he wants, with Konoha he had little chakra left.
