Has adult Obito ever deactivated his sharingan?

Yeah, what I meant was if he did it and showed us on-screen. He definitely can, but if he's able to do it sleeping I agree that's a bit creepy and awesome(since it does not bother him to keep it on forever).

Members of the clan can generally keep the normal sharigan on constantly anyways since the charka drain is practically zero. It was a fact that Itachi established fairly long ago, since we never see him with it turned off, until he's entirely burnt out. When it is deactivated, he's essencally completely blind.

The only one who really suffered from using the standard eye is those that don't share their blood. Kakashi essencally.

Didnt Obito have it deactivated when he first joined Akatsuki and was trying to hide his true identity...???


FYI: He had 10000000 eyes. He could have taken out HIS sharigan at any moment and wore a regular eye.

Im not sure in this link if his sharingan is still active or not..... when obito show his sharingan to sasuke his body was caught by amaterasu..maybe while talking to sasuke he deactivate his sharingan....

In every waking moment i think he has at least his 3 tomoe sharingan activated, while he only activates his mangekyou when needed. such as a battle, or when he wants to move long distances quickly.

He probably has, like when he was in his dumb-ass child Tobi persona, no one ever noticed the glowing eye until he finally revealed himself to not be an idiot. It's also disputed whether he can use his kamui with his 3 tome sharingan or MS, but no one could tell because of the mask, now maybe we'll know:shrug:

technically he ought to have deactivated it at some points, but for Uchihas it is not necessary to deactivate their sharingans for long periods of time as the chakra drainage is not grave. Itachi who was ill and did not have as much chakra, still kept his sharingan activated almost 90-95% of the time.
