Do you think Izuna was just in the manga for Madara to get his eyes

i dont think so i think sasuke will learn from about him the secrets of the uchiha
because it seems like the uchiha's are always 2 brothers one with the curse of hatred and the other without
that's also why i believe obito is Shisui's Older brother

The fact that Tobi's arm and Madara interacted with each other brings to believe that there's another twist which can possibly include Izuna himself.

Obito and Madara have a labratory full of eyes and Sasuke had access to them so if sasuke use's orochimaru to summon Izuna
he could give him 20 eyes for that matter

Since the Uchiha have been around there has always been a curse of hatred that followed there clan. It was a lust for power which originated from the older son, Izuna was just a tool for his brothers hatred and lust for power. Sadly his relevance in this story seems to lessen with each new chapter, but who really knows what Kishimoto has planned next?
