Reason why Itachi didn't defy Edo Tensei

I was wodnering, why itachi didn't defy, or if he can't defy it why he didn't force Kabuto to let him live a bit as Edo for longer.
He could help in the War and a Tobi would be chanceless, against an Edo Itachi without neither a low stamina nor chakra problems. Edo Itachi could spam Amateratsu, izanagi, susanoo and Tsyukoiomi. Besides he could look after his brother.

If Itachi has to stay there then all the other Edo's would be there. He released the EDO TENSEI but Madara in his prime know how to escape from Edo Tensei and stayed back. Itachi's intention was to help the shinobi's in the war.

probley because kabuto himself didnt even know it could be unsealed by madara rofl so i doubt itachi had even a mere idea that it was even comprehendable to unseal by your self haha
