Ok.. I have a question is Garra still able to control the sand?
Because i thought it was the Shukaku that allowed him to Cojntrol it the way he did.
And now that akatsuki has it did he retain that power?

I dont beleave that Garra lost his ability to use sand then he would lost his position as the Hoshikage and wouldnt be a shinobi anymore because he only know to use sand atacks but i know that he controls the sand in the gourd with chakra but dont know if its his or shukakus chakra

Nah he should still be able to use it theoretically as naruto doesn't have to use the kyuubi's power to do rasengan.... the sand in the jar on his back protected his instinctavley when he was one with shukaku i believe he can control the sand to a high level just not to as good as he possibly could have if he still had shukaku in him

i searched around and yes he can still control sand apparently he pulls naruto's hand foward for a handshake after the gaara rescue arc and in an interview with Mish he said that Gaaras ability to control sand can never be taken away as well as the dark rings around his eyes.

he can still use sand... it was shown in the end of the last anime that we saw him in... after he was resurrected he used sand for something... i believe he used it to help himself get up. But his sand probably isn't as strong...

He still retains the ability to manipulate sand. But, he'll have to control them with both hands now. So, in a way, it's not gonna be as easy as before if he were to send 4000 miles of sand against someone. >.<

dats not the point dev noruto never really realized the power of the fox until he fought Haku but garra was protected by the sand from the moment of his birth so technically we can't really say dat he will be able to use it

yep hes still got the sand and he also has the same eyes which kishi stated was shukau's and i think he has just as much ability as before just not the magical sand covering for him
