Put a hyuuga in a Major fight in this War against a powerful edo and they'll get fodderizd. their time is done.

They still are good. They just arent the main focus of the story unlike the uchiha and senju because they are supposedly not related to either, nor are they important to the main characters.

The Uchiha are stronger overall but people using the example of Madara, Itachi and Sasuke are stupid, they are once in a generation geniuses, they don't represent the clan as a whole. In part one however, it was said by Kakashi that the Uchiha were the strongest in the village and the clan's reputation suggests they are stronger.

Like the Uchiha clan, the Hyuuga mastery of the byakugan would be a different stages, Neji was also a genius, all of the branch house wouldn't be able to see rotation or see as far as far as others, most of them certainly wouldn't be able to use 8 trigrams 64 palms, judging by Hiashi's reaction to Neji using it.

The Uchiha clans mastery of fire techniques and genjustu prowess is something most of the clan would have while techniques like rotation aren't, so as a clan the Uchiha are definitely stronger.

Let's compare the five strongest Uchiha with the four strongest Hyuga. No edo tensei allowed and let us stick to three tomoe only since MS is too OP.

Madara, Itachi, Obito and Sasuke VS Neji, Hiashi, Hizashi and Hinata

Even with just the 3 tomoe sharingan, the Uchiha stomp the Hyuga. Adding MS, EMS and Rinnegan makes this overkill. Hell, Madara and Itachi are probably good enough to solo the Hyuga clan with just the 3 tomoe sharingan.

As for fodder Uchiha VS fodder Senji, read the panels that Blaze Release posted.

In short, Uchiha>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Hyuga.

Of course by that logic.the sq Itachi > 99.9% of Clan, Therefore : A+B of the square route of ramen = Sasuke > Itachi. And through the laws of physics Sasuke > Rest of Clan (other than Madara and Tobi).

I have to go with Uchiha simply because with a fully evolved sharingan, they can predict their opponent's movements with ease, and since the Hyuuga focus on taijutsu, they would lose. Also, your main point was that the hyuuga can use the palm rotation to counter everything, but it takes a lot of chakra to use the rotation even once. Think of Neji, the strongest Hyuuga. How many times is he able to use the rotation in one fight? Sure, it is a perfect defense, but the amount of times it can be used is very small. Also, like I said before, an Uchiha with a fully matured Sharingan would be able to predict the movements of the Eight Trigrams, Sixty Four Palms. As much as it will make me sound like a fanboy, Uchiha> Hyuuga by a large margin.

It wouldnt be as much of a stomp as you make it out to be since these would be the strongest going at it with the uchihas only with 3 tomoe and I could actually make an arguement for them.

Any uchiha fanboy could simply say uchiha stomps, but someone explaining in detail how it would be a stomp is what gives it credibility.

Also saying hype like "itachi soloed uchiha clan so he solos" or "madara is on par with hashirama so he solos", is not applicable for this. This is a different clan with different abilities, and it will have to be described how it would be played out.

The hyuugas excel in taijutsu and would not lose simply because their opponent can predict their moves. Just because you have 3-tomoe prediction doesnt mean that it is an automatic win for them. They have the fastest handspeeds in the manga, which makes it very difficult for them to react to their attacks.

Rotation can actually be used quite often considering how much Neji has used it in part 2 against his clone. Craters were litering the ground meaning that they can use it quite often before running out of chakra. Maintaining it for long periods of time is what really drains their chakra.

Well the uzumaki clan is, for the most part, dead, and the hyuuga are simply irrelevant to the plot. They are both very powerful, but the uchiha and senju rivalry is of main concern to kishi.

I love all the responses that are saying how the Uchiha are the best, Uchiha are #1, etc. even though they're extinct. There's not even an Uchiha clan anymore. Just some Uchiha stragglers. But don't get me wrong, any one of those stragglers would rape the sh*t out of any Hyuga.

I'm not saying a Hyuga wouldn't beat an Uchiha .. but saying Neji is better than Itachi is stupid. Itachi was a world class ninja, and he was skilled in other things beside spamming his sharingan.
