Senju: The Clan of a Thousand Skills
A few things before we start:
My argument centers around this quote, found on Narutopedia, who uses as reference the following chapters:
Naruto chapter 500, page 3
Naruto chapter 462, pages 12-13
"Where other clans focused on mastering one particular skill, the Senju were masters in all skills, from ninjutsu, to taijutsu, to genjutsu."
I believe the Senju are more powerful than the Uchiha because they create all-mighty shinobi who are, if not the best, the closest rank to the best, in a large variety of areas. The members of the Senju are ninja who have the "body: (strength of will and physical energy)" of the sage that allows them to excel considerably in ninjutsu and/or taijutsu.
The Uchiha center around Genjutsu. Although some members, like Itachi and Sasuke, have great taijutsu skills, both their ninjutsu and taijutsu fall short when compared to the Senju. (I took the Amaterasu statement because it just creates confusion.)
Senju features that take the spotlight away from the Uchiha:
-they vary widely, and this is why, as a clan, they are better and could beat the Uchiha any day.

These three shinobi are enough evidence that the Senju clan is superior. Why? Because look at what they have achieved. They've beat powerful foes (Madara EMS, Kyuubi), they have proved to be the best in different areas (Wood, Taijutsu, Water, Medical) and extremely skilled in others (S/T, Kinjutsu and Summoning) and they left behind an immensely significant legacy (DNA, Resurrection, Academy, Medical-nin system, ANBU, KMPF). Yes, Itachi might be able to defeat Tsunade in a 1v1, but as a clan, there is no doubt that the SENJU > UCHIHA. AS A CLAN, THEY ARE BETTER.
A few things before we start:
-EDO MADARA DOES NOT COUNT AS A MEMBER OF THE UCHIHA CLAN. EMS MADARA DOES (w or w/o Rinnegan). Why? Because on this discusion we are comparing CLAN FEATS, given to the members for being part of the clan, Hashirama's DNA and unlimited chakra reserves are not part of the Uchiha bloodline; however, the Rinnegan, Susano'o and Amaterasu are because these are accomplishments that come from the mastery of their visual prowess that lies on their bloodline. Let's be fair people.

The first Hokage's unparalleled mastery of Wood Style, capable of containing the Kyuubi and defeating Madara.

It was such that many considered his prowess to be a mere fairy tale much like the existence of the Sage of the Six Paths. The most common example was his ability to not only fight on equal footing with Madara despite his power of the Eternal Mangekyō Sharingan and control over Kurama but even gained victory in and survived the battle."
Hashirama was so revered as the greatest shinobi of all time that his DNA was sought by everyone! Orochimaru experimented on Yamato, Danzo implemented it on his right hand and Tobi used it to create his army of White Zetsu and to support Gedo Mazou.
"Because of the heritage of the Senju — who are said to be direct descendants of the Sage of the Six Paths — and the kekkei genkai that Hashirama possessed, his DNA became highly coveted."
He was also excellent in medical ninjutsu and chakra control. He could heal himself without using any hand seals. He was so good, that even Madara said Hashirama's medical abilities were on a another level, superior to his.
He was also proficient in both taijutsu and genjutsu:
As the leader of the Senju clan, Hashirama held tremendous proficiency in many shinobi skills and possessed a considerable understanding of those he did not. He held advanced ability in taijutsu with prodigious speed and strength. In addition, he was well-versed in genjutsu and could perform powerful illusions such as the Bringer-of-Darkness Technique

The Second Hokage's two biggest feats are: the creation of the Summoning: Impure World Ressurection technique and his unrivaled Water mastery.
"Tobirama was primarily known for his mastery of Water Release. He could perform powerful water-style techniques in areas that lacked bodies of water by creating his own water out of thin air or producing it from his mouth, and perform some of the most complex water-style techniques, such as the Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet Technique, with a single hand seal. This amongst other reasons is why he is revered as the greatest known Water Release manipulator in the series."
He also had great sensory abilities. By just placing a single finger on the ground, he could detect the prescence and number of enemies from considerable distances. Not only that, Minato Namikaze said that he was highly skilled in Space/Time Ninjutsu.
Adding to his abilities, he was skilled in taijutsu:
"Tobirama was also shown to have great physical prowess and a considerable amount of skill in the area of taijutsu, as well as good teamwork with his elder brother, Hashirama Senju."
Another important feature that Tobirama has that, not only further sustains my point that the Senju clan is better than the Uchiha clan in every possible way except Genjutsu, is his legacy to the Narutoverse. As a Senju member, he did so much for Konoha:
-he established the Academy
-he founded the ANBU
-he founded the Konoha Military Police Force

Her taijutsu is beyond superior. She was able to break through a Susano'os ribcage, sword and later went to knock down a complete version with just punches. She even was able to oblirate a part of Madara's body with a single hit, forcing him to use Hashirama's Wood Release to heal himself.
Tsunade's trademark ability is her incredible raw strength with which she is able to perform such feats as launching her targets several metres with a mere finger flick or create fissures with a single finger jab at the ground. An opponent struck by her attacks could suffer damage ranging from broken bones, ruptured organs, or even death.
Her unsurpassed medical ninjutsu allows her these features:
-She created Medical-nin system and the laws that govern them
-She can immediately determine what kind of injuries or illness a person has from a single glance
-She can perform any procedure flawlessly to cure and heal injuries that others would consider impossible or a lost cause. She can do so through the usage of no more than chakra or basic tools.
Chakra Reserves and Life Stamina:
"When needed, Tsunade can also release a large amount of stored chakra using Yin Seal. Upon its release, Tsunade can either use the stored chakra to facilitate the activation of one of her techniques such as the Creation Rebirth, which makes her virtually immortal in battle or simultaneously heal and protect the entire citizens of Konoha from a very powerful attack such as Pain's Shinra Tensei. She is also able to transfer chakra to others as seen when gave Ōnoki some of her chakra in order to facilitate his large-scale Dust Release: Detachment of the Primitive World Technique and still manages to maintain the activation of her Strength of a Hundred Technique."
