Oro would survive a Death God sealing too...?

Well, we know he survived a sealing from Itachi... Which is undoubtedly the same thing...

Methinks which also means if anyone else had used a similar trick as Oro used; they too could come back; even from a Death God sealing ... (some such as Minato at east it wouldn't make sense for, as he said his goodbyes to his son and all). Would had made a good plot hole, heh.

hmm ... your question confused me a bit but Orochimaru was only partially sealed (because of Hiruzen being stabbed at the moment of seal process) and BTW I agree because orochimaru is a genius fragmenting his soul over cursed seals

Indeed, and yes, tho I do wonder what he loses when one fragments ones soul... Chakra one would think...

Basically I was saying is, had Itachi knew Death Seal and used it on Oro, had he been able to use his fragmented soul to survive...

I'm of the belief that ro learned from his battle with the 3rd and prepared for that, COMBINED with the fact he may had knew Itachi could seal... And he KNEW that's the /only/ way to kill him basically... (much like that villain on Harry Potter, lol)

Not at all. Things didn't go in the way Oro wanted to and it was pretty clear and to say that he purposely lost to Sasuke is again something wrong. He hadn't planned that far, it's obvious though Oro was smart he even after getting absorbed knew that Sasuke still isn't strong enough to hold him. He didn't expect Itachi to seal him.

I'm not sure i'm entirely convinced by this, Orochimaru's one tricky bastard to kill but I get the feeling the Death Reaper seal is kinda the alpha and the omega. Can you even outsmart death?

Didn't Suigetsu say that Orochimaru would probably have his arms sealed even if he was revived? Suigetsu's credibility is questioned and what not but I don't see why Kishi would just say that to confuse the readers >_>

@Chatte: Unseal... Yes... I would not out it past Kishi to get around to having the an Edo Uzimaki unseal said Death reaper seal... Assuming it can be done in the first... Sole for bringing the 1st back to face Madara (assuming the plot goes that way; sole to weaken Madara) (Yeah right! As if an Edo fan be weakened... xD). But yes; if there WERE an unseal- it'd have too be an Uzimaki clan member no doubt...

Well, if that is the case; then would it not stand to reason that Oro's "chakra" that was sealed via Itachi mean that there's a portion of his chakra that won't also be returning...?

Aside from that- once Oro gets a new body, there is a good chance he will be able too regain his arm... (tho did he not have access to his arm when he faced Naruto on the bridge that one time ...)

Now the most able to know some sealing techniques since her grandmother was Mito Uzumaki, I'd see Tsunade... I am sure that Mito taught Tsunade some tricks like these since the rhombus thing on her forehead is the same as her grandmother's.

But the sealing techniques, in the end can be learned by anyone, as we've seen Minato learning some from Kushina... It's probably just a matter of time and another posing problem would be probably the chakra? A special chakra that could be necessary for that?

I said something similar in another thread and I don't see why he couldn't survive the Shiki Fūjin I mean he managed to live after the Sword of Totsuka sealed part of him away both are very power bad ass methods of sealing.

It would be awesome if Orochimaru had learned how to extract peoples souls from the death gods belly now that would be epic but I highly doubt that will be the case since Sasuke doesn't seem to give two shits about the war so Oro has blatantly been brought back to help Sasuke in some way maybe unlock the Rinnegan or revive all the dead Uchiha and Senju now that would be epic.
