[Discussion] Why do people love Naruto but hate Sasuke?

I'm sorry, and Naruto was doing what during those three years? Training? Thought so. Also, Naruto spent the vast majority of Shippuden actually hindered by the presence of Kurama inside him. Might I remind you he defeated Pain without Kurama's aid?

I for one have leaned towards Sasuke since Part One because when I was younger and first started watching I thought he was cool but now that I am more mature I find his storyline and life fascinating.

Both Sasuke and Naruto and likable for their own unique abilities.

Sasuke said it himself when he was talking to Tobi that he does not care if people call him an emotional brat so call him emo all you want.

But seriously though some people in the Sasuke fanbase ruin all of our reputation and we get prejudged just because he is our favorite character.

Sasuke would have died exactly 3 separate times in his fight with Killer B. (Getting stabbed with a bunch of swords, the Lariat, and the tailed beast ball.) If not for 3 different people, he should be dead. Also the fight against the kages. If Tobi hadn't intervened, Sasuke would be made of dust right now. You can't base a character's weakness by how many times they've been saved.

You seem to forget that the entire time he was transformed, Naruto did a grand total of ****ING NOTHING to that path. It was only after he changed back that he managed to defeat him. Might I also mention he defeated him with a series of feints and a technique that he himself created, not one that came gift-wrapped with his eye?

Also you seem to have forgotten the entire rest of the fight where Naruto destroyed 5 other paths by himself. In fact, now that I think about it, if Kurama had not intervened, Naruto would have a whole extra sage mode clone he could have fought Tendo with.

Everyone needs to stop comparing Naruto and Sasuke...in Part 1 they were basically equal until Sasuke got CM level 2 and Sharingan combo. Not to mention that Naruto wasn't intending to "kill" Sasuke, while Sasuke was. But I agree that Sasuke won fair and square. Now Naruto is more powerful with Bijuu Mode, but Sasuke will get another power up like Naruto did and they'll both be even.

Anyways, Naruto could have defeated Pein without Kurama. Naruto constantly has to keep Kurama at bay with his own chakra, that's why he was chosen as the new host, and he had a couple of clones he could have used to go Sage Mode if he didn't go into the 6 tails. Plus he's talking about when he used True Wind Style: Rasenshuriken on some of the Paths.
