Gai To Use 8th Gate Against Madara? (My Prediction)

So, I was thinking about Gai and the 8th gate. The power is supposed to be equal or greater than a Kage "The Gate of Death (死門, Shimon), located at the heart. Releasing this gate uses up all of the body's energy. It makes the heart pump at maximum power and exceeds the power of every other gate. Opening this gate gives the user power that is even beyond the five Kage, but comes at the expense of the user's death shortly after." according to the wiki. Anyway, I don't think the 8th gate could KILL Madara/Obito but I suspect he will use it on one of them, not trying to kill them, but force them to use Izanagi, sacrificing his life to weaken Madara/Obito for his teammates to have a chance to defeat them.

Yeah pretty much, Kakashi is down and the only way they are going to hit Obito is if he loses he eye, he'll use Izanagi, and boom. No more intangable Obito.

Gai needs to find a glass full of Senju blood in order to survive a worthless 8th gate attack haha, if he used that on Madara, it probably would just be a wasted technique unless they seal him when he's down.

I defs agree, I think he will probably use it on Obito, but even if they kill him they'd still have to deal with Edo Madara, which will be no easy feat. Gai has kinda never done anything SUPER huge in the series, I'd like to see him use the 8th gate to make BOTH Obito and Madara use Izanagi, then he would die but his teammates would have a much better chance of winning.

1: Plot No Jutsu
2: He's had some for awhile now and been saving it.
So I would say he would either hit Obito or both of them, not waste it on Madara.

Yep Gai will have to die. Even though he a fans favorite, his death will push Naruto over the edge and he will kick Madara and Tobi a** lol.

The thing is... Madara murdered 5 KAGES. Meaning one Kage level is not enough.
Also, the usage of the 8th Gates exchanges with Gai's life.

But if he used it on Tobi on the perfect timing, I think it would work for him.

I agree just about 100%, unless he used 8th gate to distract Madara and someone else would seal him. He's either use Izanagi or die, which would leave him weak.
I dunno, I guess we wait and see.

That's something I really feel Kishi has either forgotten or has some kind of plot twist planned for. I really liked that theory where the fox's chakra powered up his sharingan, can't really remember how it goes.

no point on using it on madara coz he's an edo and he will regenerate anyway....anyway i think he wont hurt madara unless there's something like the 10th gate or something coming....8th gate>the 5 kages maybe but madara was toying with the kages like they were kids....they couldn't even scratch him...and there was raikage's speed...tsunade's huuuge chakra and instant healing...tsuchikage's will and earth technique and gaara's supposedly ultimate defense....but it was all worthless....i wonder what 8th gate could do...if he did use it on obito though..that would make sense..but since he has the jinchurikis as the paths of rinnegan....i dont think he will get hurt that bad that he will have to use izanagi....naruto is probably still on the other dimension so if he does go intangible naruto will bash him on the other side....hmm that would make sense actually
