we get to see Madara and Obito talking and Madara said they are between this and the other world. The question is, did he mean he was on the verge of death or are they in a dimension between this and the other world?. IF we consider the second posibillity, perhaps we can assume that the Kamui dimension is the dimension between this and the other world and that somehow Obito manged to use Kamui on himself and get there. How did Madara get there? we know nothing of EMS and i think maybe when you transplant the new Sharingan you get it's abillities+your old ones meanning perhaps Izuna had some kind of Kamui and sinde Madara took his eyes he could use Kamui to get to that other dimension after faking his death against Hashirama. This is all just theory so... yeah... .

This is pretty good! There are just so many mysteries and all we can do is wait...

It does appear to be a sort of purgatory between life and death. Remember how Kakashi went to a similar place when he died fighting Pain? While it's likely the old man on the page is Madara, it's not a definite thing right now. Kamui may have a connection to the world between life and death, but it may not. Madara's (or whoever's) presence there is a mystery indeed.
