Madara thinks Sasuke's eyes will definitely surpass those of Itachi, but what do any of the readers, here, think will happen with that? What kind of appearance will it have? What kind of abilities? Just a question or two to get some ideas going from you guys. If I were to guess, I'd have to say a fourth tadpole, instead of just three. Then, when mangenkyou is used, it looks more like a shuriken. What can it do? I have no clue. Maybe tomorrow. I'm headed to bed for now.

Sauskes was something like a star ( think back to wen he named team sname into team hawk ) We have yet to see Madaras Magenkyo Sharingan. I think its interesting to note that Itachis and Kakashis looked pretty similar, yet Sauskes is completely different.

Could this be a clue?

Personally, Im of the opinion that Itachi gave Sauske SOME eye techniques, but his true purpose was to strain saukes eyes so that he would go blind quicker and be unable to seek out vengance upon Konoha.

Itachi was weary of Madara and I think he was well aware that Madara would try to use Sauske. Perhaps this was his way, even in death, of maing sure that Sauske was safe. A blind Sauske would have no use to Madara.

I think a blind Sasuke is good for everybody because he keeps going around looking for revenge. I doubt that being blind will stop him because it didn't stop Madara but made him even more crazy.

Has anyone ever compared Itachi and Sasori's cause for joining the Akatski. Could Sasori have the same motive as Itachi. Sasori did let his grandma kill him just like Itachi let his brother kill him.

I apologize for not being able to quote you, but I wanted to address your question because you asked a good one. It went something like this: If Pein can sense chakra then why can he not dodge the attack?

My answer is this: I believe that sensing chakra is not very accurate as an innate ability. One must really focus on the chakra they are after in order to tell directionality or specifcally what the chakra source is doing.

When you combine that with the fact that Pein is controlling seven bodies ( the six paths and his own ) you have a vast margin of error.

You see, the more I think ablout it the more convinced I am that the bodies of Pein have 0 autonomy. This means tha Nagato must process information gained from each body and decide then what each body should do. I believe that since Yahiko is his favored body he spends most of his time processing information from that body, leaving the other bodies more susceptable to surprise attack. It appears that whenever Pein faces a strong opponent he always heavily utilizes Yahiko. His fight with Kakashi, and now his fight with Naruto.

I believe that we should look at Pein as more of a puppiteer than anything else. Remember the lessons we have learned from Kankarou, Grandma Chiyo and Sasori. The more puppets one controls the harder it is to accurately and effectively use them.

Kankarou uses three because that's all he can muster, and even then we really didn't see all three moving in unison. ( not that I caN recall at least. )

Grandma Chiyo was much more skilled, she could use ten at a time. However, I think the most we saw used in any one attack was four, and it seemed like she was having a bit of a hard time.

Sasori was considered a genius and he used over 1000 puppets, but we can clearly see from his fighting style that to use one puppet is far more effective. He only used his 1000 puppet jutsu when he was out of other options.

That being said, it would make sense if this were the case. Konan herself said that just using Yahiko would be much more effective and this may be thereason Pein never fought Shino. Do you remember how easily Shino defeated Kankarou? Perhaps all these things are clues.

This is all plausible. But it only answers why he couldn't dodge attacks. The question remains, what's the use? Does this mean that Nagato is still evolving and learning? Or maybe Nagato is not that powerful and strong like everyone thinks he is. He may have the power of the Rinnegan, but it doesn't mean he knows how to use it at full power.

I mean, with the Rinnegan, Nagato have all these awesome powers. Yet, he still relies on multiple line of sight to attack and defend against his enemies. This is why, well for me, that's all he has. Without that edge, it won't be that hard to beat him. (I'm talking about the Pein Bodies of course. We still have no idea what Nagato is really capable of when he fights on his own) Just my thoughts...

Yea that would be great or maybe naruto uses kyuubi........ but i honestly dont want him to use the kyuubi and i really really dont want him to be saved either. Id rather him get captured and took than saved in battle, this battle is his first real A mission so he needs to do this alone.

*How did I go back on my word? I did say they're fake. I just don't like to use difinitives like always, never, and definitely very often. *Sorry. Didn't think to check the profile for gender. My bad. Yeah. Fembot Naruto WOULD be pretty hot if it were real, but Konohomaru's is better (not the Sasuke/Sai one), but new generations will surpass the old. I only say this as a scientific response to my 'research.' *I didn't say the sharingan would be 'different.' I said surpass, which we haven't seen yet. We'll have to see what Itachi did to Sasuke to help/hinder him. If anything makes him go blind, it'd be the power that Naruto was given. Or maybe Itachi IS making Sasuke go blind, and Naruto's power will restore the eyes. We'll see. Gotta get to work.

Umm...reading the chapter over and over, I doubt that the fox eventually comes in action. the reason kishi made the rejection between frogs Pa and Ma and Fox has a point here. Naruto cannot beat Pein with his own sage power but he has to rely on the nine tails. Thatis why Kishi rejected fusion. I think like most of u guys said earlier that the nine-tails chakra has to take part of this battle. The evidence that i found is in chapter 434: page 18. it says that "Pain's power surpass those of Naruto in sage mode" I came to conclude that Naruto cannot beat pain with sage mode!! however, the next chapter, Naruto will have to turn on his anger and use the Kyuubi chakra

i would like to see naruto use the 4ths jutsus but first somebody has to explain to him the basics of the jutsu first liike j did with rasengan. i can see naruto beating the 6 bodys of peins but not nagato right now. when naruto first started pein fighting pein was very weak cause he had just used his devil gods heavenly retrubution jutsu. the fight would have been different if pein was at full power when naruto first showed up.

Okay, first off, let me sa that I completely agree with you. Pein does seem EXTREMELY gimp.
We all know how this works. The less people with a jutsu the more powerful it is. Therefore, if only one person in the world can have the rinnegan at a given time, it must be extremely powerful. Heck, all the legends Kakshi and Jariya talked about make this thing seem Godly.
So then, back to your question: What good is it? Why is Pein so weak?
I spoke of it before, and you touched on it here. I am of the belief that the rinnegan is incomplete. Now, when you talk about incomplete vs complete the only comparisons we have are Rasengan to Fuuton RasenShuriken and Sharingan to Makegyno Sharingan. I believe that in each step up we not only see the weilders power increase, but we see it increase exponentially.
Maybe the Bijuu are the key to unlocking the tre power of the rinnegan and that is why Pein is after them.
How many Bijuu does Akatsuki have right now? 7. How many bodies can Pein control? 6 plus his own = 7. Coincidence? Perhaps.

There's plenty of scenarios that can play out in the following chapter on how Naruto can get away from Fat BOY Pein.

1) Pa and Ma toad will finish off the preparation for the Genjutsu.

2) Fat Boy Pein will suck out all of Naruto's chakra which will lead to Naruto's Kyubbi Chakra taking over.

3) Naruto can somehow manage to get away and use his last clone with Sage Chakra.

While all of this is going on you still have to remember that Konan is somewhere around.

Konan is nowhere near the battle at the moment. She, presumably, turned herself into a paper airplane and went off to see Nagato after he used the massive Shinra Tensei against Konoha. This leads me to believe it leaves him in such a weakened state after it is used that he requires caring for. Since we have not seen Konan sience, I am left with no other opton but to believe he is still recovering.
Just because Yahiko got his powers back doesn't mean Nagato is at 100%.

To all of those that say Pain is weak, I only have to say that AGINST NARUTO he has been weak. Pain said himself, "No one has given Pain this much of a problem," or something like it. I'm not saying the Rin'negin won't get better. I'm just saying just because Naruto's 'pwning' him, up until the last page or two of the last chapter, doesn't make him weak. Remember, everybody in the manga's been saying he's surpassed this or that person. NAGATO might be weak. I don't know. Yeah, I'm interested in seeing what role origami-girl plays. People've been saying an akatsuki member's gonna be the leaf's friend. If Naruto is really caught, Konan'll probably be the catalyst in freeing him, or at least open the door for whoever does.

In any wars, we don't know if we are fighting the right war until we see the results. I agree wars are necessary for peace, its ironic. Make sure you have your partners cover your 6 and 3 and 9.

i was thinking while ma and pa toad get prepared for the genjutsu and naruto is getting his chakra sucked outta him maybe Gai and his team will show up as well as Konan to help defend Naruto with Lee or Gai taking on the Pain that absorbs ninjutsu and maybe neji with tenten taking on god realm pain cuz i remember that shot of Neji saying something about a lot of birds coming from the village.

i was just thinking about this... if pein takes naruto's chakra then it is possible that kyubbi could take over and naruto would be able to free himself. i was wondering what would happen if kyubbi took over and broke free of pein then the other clone is summoned to the battle field. if the clone was summoned and dispersed, naruto would all of a sudden have sage mode again while the fox cloak is active and perhaps naruto would then be strong enough to negotiate with kyubbi to work together like so many people have been waiting for.

for the record, i DON'T want to see kyubbi unless it's an all out brawl between the fox and naruto. i'm just saying i think the above is a possibility.
