Why is Edo Madara "young" if he was alive during Nagato's era?

Even if Tobi grew out his hair to "act" like Madara (which i dont agree).

Even if Madara used a substitution jutsu to stay looking "young" (like Tsunade does).

Even if that old uchiha is NOT madara.

Madara still knew Nagato had the rinnegan. He would have had to be alive while Nagato was alive to know him.







HOW CAN HE BE BROUGHT BACK TO LIFE IN EDO TENSEI AS A YOUNG MAN, AND HE NEVER DIED DURING THE HASHIRAMA BATTLE....?!?

You come back to the battlefield by how you look in your prime/how you looked when you were young. Hashirama died an old man, I'm sure(Madara was probably older though), and he was Edo'd young.

Kabuto altered his body to bring it back to his "golden age" so that he'd be a more useful pawn for the Edo Tensei.

So, in other words, if any of the Kages die from the fight with Edo Madara, blame Kabuto!

Nah, Edo Tensei brings you back exactly as you were when you died. Look at Chiyo and Nagato, for example. Madara was a special case because Kabuto (and perhaps Orochimaru before him) tampered with his body to make it more powerful/in line with his 'golden age.'

I have said many times before Edo Tensei doesn't bring you back how you died. It more than likely brings you back at the age the dna was taken (if I took your dna at age 10, how would it know what you would look like when you die?). Kabuto could have simply found somehting which contained Madara's dna at that age. Kabuto went grave robbing to get most of the Edo's dna, which is why people think Edo Tensei revived them how they died.
Thats what I think anyway.

Because of the state Kabuto revived Madara in. He said that he revived Madara in a state beyond his prime.

How in the world did Kabuto RANDOMLY get DNA from Madara while he was young?!? Where in the world would he find this DNA at??? Any biological DNA left behind on a battle field would have been completely biodegraded after a CENTURY plus of time passing. It would be hard enough to find DNA of "old" Madara right before he died (which would have been alittle easier to obtain since he was still alive at Nagato birth) but impossible to get his DNA from when he was "young" during Hashirama's era of being Hokage. Just not possible dude.

2) I made you even better then you were in your golden age. This means he was not revived in his current state he was revived at an even better state then his golden age.

If you took someones DNA when they were 10 and used it 100 years later then the DNA would be 110 years old. DNA ages with time as well. In this case since the DNA has been out of the body for a long time it has aged differently than the rest of the body. Who know what you would get if you tried to use this DNA to revive someone.

I do think Kabuto just worked on Madara's body to revive him in his prime.

I can see both sides of the argument, but what if the DNA doesn't have a play in how old the Edo Tensei form is? Just saying for the sake of argument that the soul could be the variable that determines age.

Maybe kabuto had DNA of him when he was younger from oro and just tampered with his old body if he had it, beats me though...i guess we won't really know now because kabuto is out of the picture

Why is it impossible to get Madara's dna when he was young? All he needs is an item which Madara may have used at that age. People have managed to get a hold of Hashirama's dna. Plus if you want to talk about somebody who's dna would have been hard to find, Nagato's should have been near impossible to "randomly" find for Kabuto aswell. The only place he could have found dna is when he and Konan were hidden in the forest after using Rinne Tensei (and his nose bleeds 2 drops of blood).
It would be the most logical explanation of why Kabuto was able to bring Madara back looking like he does, unless you have a better theory on how Kabuto managed to bring him back past his prime?

Nagato got restored because he used the six paths chakra absorbing technique... not sure if that's how he did it with Madara, but with the Rinnegan who really knows.
