Questions about 601

Im confused about some of the dialogue in 601. Madara says "You were too hasty Obito, is that the reason you revived me like this". Why does Madara ask Obito whether he revived him? Surely Madara knows that it was someone else considering Kabuto talked to him when he was in edo form. Also Madara should be able to tell that Obito wasn't the one behind edo tensei because Obito said he was'nt expecting Madara to defy the technique.

Also, Madara says 'well, its you' after Obito heals himself. Why was Madara not sure whether it was Obito? Did he take the fact that Obito can heal himself with senju dna as fact that he is definitely Obito.

I think kishi screwed up. Madara obviously knew obito didnt summon him. So why ask if it was Obito? I dont think Kishi reviews the past manga to keep the story still intact with the past.

And from one of the panels we see Madara was an old man when he found Obito, so that begs the question how did Hashirama die? and did Madara die shortly after saving Obito?

good question and i got the answer for you, if you go back to that chapter madara still thinks that it was obito that summoned him trough edo tensei, because they had a plan.... kabuto said i work for him meaning tobi, if madara knew from the start he was being used by someone else like kabuto for kabuto personal reasons he would have sealed himself or gone on a crazy rampage and kill everyone involved even if tobi knows nothing about edo, kabuto said im with him(tobi) so madara trusted what kabuto said.... alot of people thought kabuto was talking about orochimaru .... why... i don't know. kishi made no mistake.

my theory is that madara died recently most people think he died decades ago...why i dont know, we saw him in the kisame flashback with long hair controlling the mizukage that was madara not tobi.... and that was after the tailed beast attacked the village. so yes madara was old which goes with my above statement because one of the most surprising things was when he got brought back trough edo even he was surprised to see himself in his prime age and in his prime physically just how kabuto stated "i brought you back at your prime."

Some really good observations. I was also wondering why would he say "Well its you". That implies that just maybe he might not be Obito. I have heard many theories stating that it is someone else using Obito's body. Most people say that it is Izuna. I wonder if he is just accepting the Obito role, but is someone else.

There are 2 things we're not sure of yet: How does the moon's eye plan work and when exactly Madara should have been revived!

When Madara said: " you were too hasty Obito", this referred to activating the moon's eye plan too soon - that is without the Kyuubi and Hachibi. "Is that why you revived me like this" may mean that Madara thought Obito needed his help to activate MIP, which is why he was revived.
Is that why "you" revived me like this: "you" may also mean Obito, Nagato and their new gang member Kabuto.... "you" could well be plural here.

About Obito saying that Madara "defied the technique", he meant that Madara defied Edo - that's all. It didn't mean Madara defied the Edo that Obito activated.

Where Madara says "well, it's you", he meant: 'after all it's you Obito, you must have something up your sleeve'...or 'you must have planned something better coz I trust how good you are'....

Please don't mind, but I think you reading too much between the lines dude.

I don't read japanese, but I think the translators did a pretty good job. I can sense each character's tone when I read - without propoer translation, I wouldn't have felt that.
Also, Kishimoto likes to be vague when we're about to know something big (Obito's relation with Madara in this case) and he doesn't want us to see Madara and Obito in a funny or light way like Naruto-Bee or Kakashi-Guy or even Tobi-Deidara...
He wants to show that these two are scheming and dangerous people (more like Kabuto & Oro) so there won't be any fist bumps or childish ways of talking.... that's my guess anyway.
