Where were you on 9/11/01

I was just arriving to school when the first tower was struck by the plane and when the second tower was hit I was sitting in my 10th grade geometry class...I'm interested in hearing were you guys were during this crisis

Probably at home or at kindergarten, I was 5 when it happened.

Wrong section...though I was a 5 year old sitting at home, and I distinctly remember seeing the news and watching the aftermath of the initial tragedy.

I was 17 and waiting for the bus back home from college when I heard it (other side of the planet etc.) One of my cousins and his g/f were in NY when it happend. They were in another part of the city
9/11/06 is more traumatizing for me tho. My dad died from cardial arrest (is that how you say it?) at the age of 46. I was very close to him and I miss him a lot.

I was on a school field trip to the beach to learn about the ecosystem, and the damages that littering can do to it. We picked up a lot of cigarette butts that day. I knew something was up before we got back to the school, because I'd heard some of the teachers talking about it. Mind you I was only in Elementary school. I knew something very bad had happened when I got back to the school because they passed out flyers to all the students about it for them, and their parents. I will never forget finally getting home that day, and seeing what was on the tv. My parents had never shied away from showing me horror movies, and graphic stuff.. but that was a new one even for me.

I'm glad that your cousins were safe during that while ordeal... I'm sorry to here about your dad my condolences

I was watching the news when it came on horrifying seeing people jump from a couple of thousand feet to their death
